    My wife attended the surgery on the 10th March with symptoms that were possibly a stroke but it could have been migraine. Such care and attention was paid to my wife, really thorough. A referral was made to the Hallamshire where she is now being attended to after a stroke. This could easily have been missed. Superb support from the receptionist who took the call for an appointment and the superb care from the trainee GP Forever grateful John B

    I had a meeting with the nurse about an issue - she was incredibly helpful and talked through all the options with me. My situation is slightly complicated so she went away and checked with the doctor then rang me back the same day to give further advice and book a follow up. She was absolutely brilliant and so helpful and kind.

    I was impressed by the vaccination process having recently had jabs for shingles and pneumonia. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

    I recently had an episode with my blood results which rtequired urgent intervention. The doctors were very efficient in identifying the problem and the solution. although not entirely resolved, its reassuring to know that when required they are on your case.

    I recently had a medication review which was sympathetic, thorough and unhurried. Prior to the appointment I wasn't sure what the point of it would be, but in fact it was really useful to talk through current medication and consider possible options and scenarios for the future. Call came on time and future actions put in place for a year ahead. All good. Drs surgeries seem to have to take a lot of flack. My experience of The Hollies is that they are caring and thorough and although sometimes it seems like there might be a long wait, they triage effectively and will be proactive about calling you in or phoning where appropriate. It tyme a little while to get the hang of contacting surgery on line for appointments and advice, but actually I think it's a much better system and I am very happy with the surgery. They are also good about calling you in for reviews and health checks where needed.

    I have been on certain medication for a long time and was concerned about long-term side effects. I was phoned by the practice's prescribing pharmacist after a few days, which was fine, as a non-urgent enquiry. She listened to my worries and gave me clear and helpful information and advice. She helped me to make changes to my ongoing medication in line with my concerns and arranged a follow-up telephone appointment for a month's time, to review the changes and any effects on my symptoms. She was sympathetic, straightforward and gave me the time I needed to be sure I understood everything properly.

    Always a professional and cheerful welcome at reception. I attended a GP appointment recently, February 4th, relating to on and off symptoms in prostate area. The GP was very friendly caring and professional and was very thorough with questions and diagnosis. I left feeling reassured and was clear regarding next steps. A positive experience from an excellent practice. Thanks , Tom Jackson.

    Great practice had excellent medication review.I saw a GP who was wonderful ,listened to me and gave me plenty of time.My only concern was when I went to reception to request an appointment with a GP I was asked by the receptionist why I needed to see a doctor.I do not think it is appropriate to be asked by a receptionist what is wrong with me
