    The experience of going for my flu jab was good. I enjoyed chatting to others as we queued for a few minutes on the way in and the staff members guiding us were bright and friendly and swiftly made sure we knew where to go. The injection itself was delivered by the doctor so swiftly, in a few minutes I was out and on my way home!

    Appointment for the Respiratory vaccine with the Practice Nurse. I might still be sitting mistakenly in the wrong waiting area if she hadn’t kindly searched me out. Thank you.

    A well organised flu jab day on Saturday afternoon, no long queue for me, but I heard from family that the morning was queuing to the bottom of the slope.

    The care, understanding and empathy shown to me during a recent consultation was exemplary. The doctor listened, used appropriate questioning and gave me space to explain my situation which helped me immeasurably during my moment of crisis. The professional advice offered helped me envision a way through that will hopefully eventually lead to a positive outcome.

    My time slot was 0857. The queue was out the door and halfway down the path. Oh dear one thought - but this line quickly advance to 'check-in' and then to the first marshall. A brief wait and I was directed to the requisite waiting area. The second marshall invited me to take a seat. A few moments later I was sat with a medic and a colleague manning the computer. I was duly inoculated and back in the fresh air..... It was only a few minutes since joining the original queue. So every treatment room on all three floors were in use, that's a lot of medics, what a remarkable system, well done to all!! In the subsequent survey the first question is about the telephone. I didn't use the phone, my booking was online - hence my answer

    Visited the surgery to have stitches removed following lung surgery. The practice nurse was excellent. She called in a partner to share concern about my wound and I was really impressed with the skill and professionalism of both of them. If I had one thing that I would change it would be the piped music. I understand the reason for it but it makes for an unpleasant time in the waiting room. I’ll know to bring Wes plugs next time.

    I attended for my Flu and Covid jabs and was amazed at how quickly I was in and out! 1200 patients and 9 surgeries operating on a Saturday was very impressive.

    All staff were lovely,helpful, friendly. Well organised process. Speedy service with the jabs,but also took effort to make conversation,so it felt really welcoming.
