Review titled Long wait for appointment
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anil - Posted on 10 June 2024
My wife went to book appointment with Pharmacist at surgery for Vitamin B12 injection on 07/06/24 & she was given appointment for 26/06/24. She is seriously deficient as found by hospital. Surgery can't give early appointments. Quite a long wait for such a small thing. Surgery needs to speed up their internal process.

Dear Anil, we are very sorry to learn of your wait for a B12 injection. Our B12 injections are administered by one of our healthcare assistants or a nurse- not a pharmacist. The usual wait is no more than a few days, therefore you should not have had to wait that long. We would be grateful if you could contact the practice and ask for our complaints manager to provide details so that we can look into this.

Review titled Very disorganised - staff not trained properly
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 09 May 2024
I went emergency with strong abdominal pain - they gave me some medicines and they have requested me to see the GP for more tests - the doctor has ordered a scan, blood tests and stool tests. The lady at the reception has given me the wrong bottles and I have done the samples on wrong bottles. The details were already in the system but no one at the surgery informed me. Luckily today I went for blood tests and I have asked the nurse to check if my stool results are back - she has checked for me, and she has found out that the tests were not done as they have given me wrong bottles. The nurse who took the blood sample, was very nice and gave me other bottles to repeat the tests. Everything it's now delayed, I cannot take the medicines given by the hospital as will interfere with the stool results. I cannot believe that nobody checked and then informed me about the mistakes, it looks the surgery and staff are really not trained and do not do the work properly. I am wondering how many other patients are waiting for their results but nothing was done properly. I am very disappointed, I am in pain and I was waiting for some results so we can go for proper treatment. The surgery needs trained staff, more organising and enhanced communication. It's about people's health, they must improve on an urgent basis!

Review titled Beyond Terrible Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Lance - Posted on 07 March 2024
My wife has been sick for two weeks and has not been getting better and have been trying for a week to get a booking with this practice. You just get stringed along with their beyond useless online booking system. They give you time lines for response which they do not stick to you and than when you call them upset, they are more concerned about their feelings and somebody speaking with a raised voice to them (mind you, there was zero swearing, zero name calling, just raised voice). Amazing how they more concerned about that than actually helping a sick person. Their booking system appears to be implemented in a way, that they can avoid contact with their patients as much as possible.

Review titled Excellent experience again
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anna D - Posted on 14 February 2024
I developed a worrying symptom yesterday evening and after a sleepless night contacted the practice this morning. I was offered an urgent appointment at 12.30 pm today. Following examination I was given a provisional diagnosis and prescribed treatment with an explanation of what would happen next if the treatment didn’t work. Thank you! This is a friendly - the reception staff are outstanding- well run and efficient practice. I have no hesitation in recommending to my friends and family.

Review titled Bad experience

I have had a pain in my abdomen for several months. I requested an appointment with the GP for the interpretation of the ultrasound. I was directed to a nurse who specializes in abdominal pain, but when I got there I found out that she does not have this competence and must consult a Gp.Time list

Review titled efficient, helpful and empathetic reception.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lawrence Opoczynski - Posted on 28 June 2023
My recent visit was for a simple blood test but as with all my visits the reception staff and nurse were so very helpful and kind. I am a recent new patient of only a few months to this practice but the difference in demeanour is as chalk and cheese with my previous medical centre. Honeypot never fails to be so very helpfull and I must emphasise as the front desk is always the first port of call for patients that impression is so very important and in my case never fails to surprise in how patient orientated that they are. To have 3 receptionists most of the time does make a tremendous difference and the demeanour of the staff never varies from being responsive, helpful and kind. It may appear that I am being over the top in my praise But when having experienced the very negative attitudes elsewhere it is as a breath of fresh air. the facilities and the clear and obvious modern infrastructure including a lift, with everywhere spotless in every way, is as it should be but is lacking in other practices. I must also emphasise that my wife and a fellow resident have also transferred to you and have nothing but praise for the difference in how they are treated by all staff and doctors. thankyou so much Honeypot Medical Centre.

Review titled Excellent GP partner!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 June 2023
I had an urgent matter to discuss with one of the GP partners today. Not was he empathetic, caring and understanding, he also helped me as much as he could, to get my expensive medication prescribed. I can only thank him for his gesture, and true effort to help me to continue with my medication. I do wish more doctors were like him. He is a true example of a genuine caring doctor. Thank you so much Honeypot Medical Centre!

I have just recently moved to this GP and have had a great experience! I never have to wait so long for them to pick up phone calls and they are always there to help me and advise me. An amazing practice and great staff.

Review titled They are not serious
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Irina Georgiana Cucos - Posted on 22 March 2023
I was supposed to have an appointment at 3:20, I arrived 3:15, and I had to wait until 4:00 before I left. Nobody attended to me. The receptionist send the doctor 3 messages with no response. When I asked to be rescheduled, they said that I will be after another 2 weeks. People die in 2 weeks! Not serious at all! And this is not the 1st incident. Ultimately I left with nothing.
