Having recently attended hospital for a new consultation I had been given a prescription for new medication. Unfortunately this had not been completed correctly by the consultant & as such the pharmacist was unable to dispense this. They suggested I ask at the surgery if the GP would rewrite it as I was unable to see the consultant again. I attended the Armitage surgery on Friday 17th Feb & explained the issue to the receptionist. She advised me to take a seat whilst she tried to resolve the issue for me. A short while later she came over to explain that the surgery pharmacy would ‘sort it out’ for me & advised that I could collect a new prescription later that day. I was extremely grateful for her help (& the surgery pharmacy) as the medication was essential. Thank you for being so helpful, it is very much appreciated.

I've been so ill for the past few weeks and have been awake all night in agony, rang the doctors at 8:00am on the dot and apparently they're experiencing too many calls, more like they can't be bothered to answer the phone, been ringing for the past 25 minutes and says the same thing every time, absolute waste of tax payers money, no wonder a+e is completely over whelmed.

I go in really need to see a dr always say you have to have a phone appointment first. They always have an excuse some of them are quite rude in there not all of them. You speak to a different dr each time it’s frustrating. I feel as though they don’t really care just want to give out tablets.
