After 10 phone calls and finally number 20 in the queue, was met with opposition that there was no appointments for none urgent conditions. I had to beg and say I did not want my condition to deteriorate before I have the appointment. I did a telephone review that day and the Dr requested some blood tests. A week later 25/2/2024 I rang number 20 in the queue and finally got through and explained that I had blood tests and was Requesting a Dr’s call to discuss blood results. The receptionist refused to make one saying my request was not urgent I should try on Monday. Now if my results were abnormal God forbid Is it in my interest that I should wait and probably be told again that my situation is not serious to be attended to. I am not asking for too much here just someone to tell me the blood results. I find this whole experience very upsetting and worrying.

I rang at 8am. 42 calls and over 40 minutes in the queue to be told no appointments left. It doesn't matter what severity of issue you ring with either. Totally unfair system that pushes people to the brink. You're not able to pre book and are told to ring back daily for the exact same thing to happen again. When I'm dead I hope someone sorts this system out so others don't have to keep going through it.
