This new WhatsApp Doctaly assist is great. It’s so easy to use and they get back to you real quick. I’ve used it a few times, it saves so much time hanging around on hold. You can use it for pretty much everything, book or amend appointments, get medication repeats, get medical advice, send pictures to get medication.

Used today as needed to see doctor.few questions which I didn't mind.booked appointment today.better way to get appointment an there's so many options like phone call instead of appointment..

Some people do not like the fast moving pace of tech but when trying to update the doctors surgery or extend a sick certificate it takes a few moments saving time waiting on the phone it’s marvellous

Thanks for the review. Glad you like the new ChatDoc WhatsApp service. We agree that its not for everyone, so the phones are open as usual! Overall the response from patients is amazing - over 80% of our patient contacts are now done over WhatsApp. Obviously many of those do then come in for an appointment, but we are able to prioritise so much better. The practice is very customer focussed with a combination of use of technology and front of house staff that are very polite and helpful to doctors that very good listeners and proactive . They are always trying to meet the expectations of clients. I will always recommend them

Always friendly and helpful and I’m loving the Watsapp way of communicating as it saves so much time in hanging on the phone. You can explain what your needs are and although they say that someone will get back to you within 2 hours, I’ve never had to wait longer than 30 minutes wherein I’ve been given sound advice or an appointment if they’ve deemed the situation necessary. The doctors make you feel listened to which, I feel, is extremely important when you suffer mentally.

We think the WhatsApp is excellent too! Your experience is exactly what we are trying to achieve for all patients, so thanks again for giving us some feedback. The way we now work also takes some of the (huge!) pressure off our clinical team, allowing them the time and space to properly help people, particularly those with mental health issues. Ever since moving to this GP practice my family and i have never had any problems with getting appoimtments. Even now using the watsapp service has been pretty easy to use and my queries always get resolved.

As you are no doubt aware, access to doctors is very difficult in many parts of the country at the moment, so great to hear that you can get the help you need when you need it. Thank you giving the WhatsApp ChatDoc service a try as well. Over 80% of our patients are now using it which is excellent progress and makes a real difference to us. The doctors at this surgery are great and always happy to try and help. I have been with them since I was a child and would never change doctors. The receptionists are always lovely polite and willing to help. This surgery is probably the best one in downham.

I used whatsApp. Easy to use and you get a quick response. Much easier than calling. The way they ask questions could be improved. Possibly be able to identify you quicker, and when you are asked if you want a reply either by wharsApp or phone. Maybe an option to say either would be useful. Otherwise great

From receptionists, nurses, doctors and pharmacist.They all have great public relation skills.This service is demonstrated on rhe telephone and face to face. Very proactive,helpful and dedicated team.Well done to all and keeep up the efficient work ethics!!!!!!!
