    Good response using WhatsApp, only slight criticism is when booking a phone call appointment, was only told that it would be in the morning at some point, not a precise time.

    Can usually get an appointment with a named GP within a week, staff at Moorside are nice, but responses seem to vary between different doctors at the surgery. I find the WhatsApp service easier to use, but my parents find it hard which is why I have to use it on their behalf, which is not very empowering for them and can be burdensome for me having to go back and forth.

    I have found using the WhatsApp tool effectivel for easier communication for non emergency appointments.

    Dear Suzanne, Thanks for the review, glad you are finding the ChatDoc WhatsApp tool has helped you. As you rightfully point out, its not designed for emergencies - in fact GP surgeries are not designed for emergencies! 999 and A&E should remain your options in an emergency.     The new WhatsApp Doctaly Assist service is fast and efficient. After the initial automated questions, I wa receiving quick, real responses and had an appointment arranged for the same day in less than 45 minutes.

    MediDoc is quick and simple to use. . Would like to speak to a person but this is a good substitute... Quick response.

    Dear David, Thank you for the review! The service is called ChatDoc - although MediDoc is also a good name..... :-) Please remember the phone lines are still there as normal. And thanks to the fact that the majority of patients are choosing WhatsApp, average wait times on the phones are now less than 3 minutes......so if you do crave speaking to a human (don't we all at times!) that option is more accessible than ever.     Dear Robert, Thank you for the review - you have had exactly the experience we are aiming for! Excellent that we were able to give you a great first impression. Asking a few more questions rather than randomly scattering appointments to everyone who can get in the queue first is the way forward. We can effectively stream patients, handling the small stuff super quick by our admin and physician associate team, freeing up the GPs to focus on those with more acute needs. Frankly everyone wins!     Generally very straightforward and easy to book an appointment using WhatsApp. I usually find the reception staff courteous and helpful, not only to myself, but also to all members of the public in my observation.

    They are always ready to listen and offer appropriate solutions/ referrals to other complimentary agencies. They give quick responses and their people skills are impeccable. These are the best “doctors “ in my view

    I’ve had to contact the surgery a few times over the last couple of weeks in relation to prescriptions/referral etc and have used the WhatsApp service - I have found this service to be extremely efficient and helpful.
