Came to the surgery to see the doctor regarding an ongoing issue & the doctor made me feel so comfortable & relaxed. She said she would be calling me on Friday & she did which I know for some ppl is very shocking. Couldn't recommend this surgery more

On my visit to GP ,I've experienced the kind care and concern the staff shows towards me. Recalling my knee problem I was told by Doctor to go for a Physiotheraphy .The staff showing their utmost concern towards me booked it at my work place which I appreciated much. This continued till the time I was discharged for it prevented me to travel elsewhere which I couldn't do so Otherwise also I appreciate the gentle way the reception showed their care towards me Hope it continues the same way as of now.

Review titled A Pleasant and Reassuring GP visit
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Miss L Bueno - Posted on 13 June 2024
Today, I had an appointment with my GP to address a persistent ear pain that I had been experiencing in my left ear for the past four days. Given my usual apprehension towards GP visits, I was not particularly looking forward to this appointment. However, my experience today was remarkably different and pleasantly surprising. From the moment I was called in, I was greeted by their Clinical Pharmacist who had a friendly tone and a warm facial expression. This initial interaction immediately put me at ease. She began by asking relevant and specific questions about my ear pain, demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding my condition and providing the best care possible. Her advice on how to manage the pain was clear and helpful. Because my case wasn’t serious, the consultation regarding my ear issues was brief yet thorough. However, what stood out to me was her attention to detail and proactive approach. Upon reviewing my medical record, she noticed that I was due for an asthma review. Instead of asking me to schedule another appointment, she decided to conduct the review then and there, saving me time and an additional visit. This seamless transition from addressing my ear pain to conducting the asthma review was handled with efficiency and care. She took the time to ask about my current asthma management and offered valuable advice. Her willingness to address my health concerns comprehensively made me feel valued and heard. In addition to the medical consultations, we also engaged in a pleasant and informal chat. This personal touch made the visit feel less clinical and more like a conversation with someone who genuinely cared about my well-being. Her demeanor throughout the visit was kind and patient, making it one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had at a GP’s office. Typically, I find GP visits to be rushed and impersonal, often leaving me feeling like just another number. Today was a refreshing change. I left the clinic feeling relieved and very satisfied with the level of care and attention I received. Overall, today’s visit was a positive experience that not only addressed my immediate health concerns but also reinforced the importance of a caring and attentive healthcare provider. I am grateful for the exceptional service and the difference it made to my perception of visiting the GP.

The lady doctor who treated my viral condition was extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. As receipt of my medication was urgent, she took great lengths to facilitate it. She is definitely a valued asset to this practice. I wish her well!

Review titled Reception staff very rude and unhelpful
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was given a telephone appointment slot for my depression at 5.40pm however the gp called me twice during the day while I went to work to keep myself busy so I missed the calls, I called the surgery after work to say I needed that telephone appointment and that I could show on nhs app that my appointment slot was at 5.40pm...the receptionist pretty much told me it was own fault as the doctor tried to call me twice in the afternoon and she'd pass the message on to the doctor...I didn't receive a call back and I've been left feeling extremely vulnerable, without medication and not knowing where to turn. Why give a timeslot for an appointment if you're going to call hours earlier.
