Rated 1 star out of 5

Arrived on time but the sign in machine must have gone wrong and I was left waiting for 50 minutes until I asked if they had forgotten me but was told they closed at 6.30 and would have to rebook what a joke not for me at 75 years of age

Review titled Poor service

I have rung the practice today to try and arrange a prescription. Unable to re-order a repeat prescription due to my review being due. I have only had a text message today to inform of this. I now have to wait until Tuesday as the pharmacist is not at work. I do not have enough to last. The surgeries advice ‘ ring 101 ‘. No help whatsoever from the receptionist. This practice is in a fast decline

We understand your concerns regarding your repeat prescription and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. As per NHS policy, patients are required to undergo periodic medication reviews to ensure the ongoing safety and effectiveness of their treatment. We appreciate that you were only made aware of this today via SMS, But this is also on your repeat Slip given to you by the pharmacy when you collect your repeat medication. Please note that, in accordance with our standard prescription policy, prescription requests require a minimum of 48 working hours to process. Due to the upcoming Bank Holiday on Monday, any requests received from the 1st of May will be processed from Tuesday onwards, when our prescribing pharmacist is next available. We understand this timing may be difficult and encourage patients to request prescriptions in advance where possible, particularly ahead of public holidays. If you are at immediate risk of running out of essential medication, we advise contacting NHS 111 for urgent support or visiting your local community pharmacy, who may be able to issue an emergency supply under specific circumstances.

Review titled Left with no medication
Rated 1 star out of 5

I take regular medication and i unfortunately left it last minute to re order. Called the practice to request it as it wouldn’t allow me to on the app. Advised it was because it needed to be sent through to the doctor. Had a call the following day to be told i needed a review before any further medication could be issued. Explained im already on day 2 without my medication. When i asked are you happy for me to experience the side effects i was told “Don’t try and make me feel guilty” I have spoken to a pharmacist technician who advised me even if the fault of the patient a patient can not be left without any medication. Even if a small supply of a week should be issued. Asked for the practice manager to call me back … still no call

Review titled Supportive of Women's Health
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I met with the Dr and discussed my symptoms which match those found in symptoms of peri-menopause. I am informed on Menopause both symptoms and more recently as a growing topic of discussion in our Society. I found the Dr to be very open to listening, evaluating with me and helping me to choose an option to start me with. My symptoms are not life-threatening but they certainly have an impact on my engagement and enjoyment of several areas of life. This GP was really understanding of my concerns. I would highly recommend.
