I tried for 3 days to get hold of someone to make an appointment, on the 4th day I was on hold for over an hour (I rang at 8am) only to be told I couldn't have an appointment because I didn't call early enough! (Oh and they open at 8am on a Wednesday!!) So another day passes without my prescription or being able to speak to a doctor. I would suggest that instead of blaming the patients who have waited an hour to get through to the reception team, who by the way are lovely.... Maybe they should open another phone line? Or hire another receptionist? Levels of service here are poor at best, I would recommend you look elsewhere if you have moved to the area and are looking for a new GP.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback, although I am sorry to read of the service you have received. The phone lines have been an issue since we went cloud-based, which is a switch we had had no option over. With it being cloud-based there are no ISDN phone lines and we do actually have more reception staff than we have ever had, so unfortunately this is an operational problem that I appreciate needs resolution. Believe me we are working on achieving this.
