I am over 60 and wished to have some routine health check blood tests, requesting these by E consult. Not only did this surgery decline my request, they also required me to make an appointment (quite unnecessary in view of the tests requested and my age). I did so, but they then cancelled that appointment. Frustrating. Will register with another surgery to see if they are more interested in preventative Medicine.

Thank you for raising your concerns regarding your recent eConsultation. All investigations, including blood tests, have to be requested by a Doctor or a Nurse which is why you may have been asked to make an appointment for this. If you would still like to go ahead, please contact the Surgery and we will arrange this for you.

I always receive amazing service from everyone in this surgery, from the reception staff to the nurses and the GPs. All the interaction have had have been positive.

I called after 4 on a Friday just to see if I could get an appointment the following week. I was encouraged to come and be seen right away. I had not expected that. The receptionists and staff were kind, and the physician was as well. The physician was thorough and careful, and made sure I understood the next steps. He was also reassuring, which was appreciated. Highly recommend this practice.
