Review titled Diabolical
Rated 1 star out of 5

Might I suggest that our government stores its gold reserves in Kent House Surgery in Longfield. It would be totally safe as it is totally impossible for the public to get in there!

Review titled Jubilee Medical Group Longfield-wonderful staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sue B - Posted on 11 September 2023
Staff at all levels have been totally supportive and caring, helping to arrange a number of tests under the 2 week wait pathway. I was apprehensive that there would be delays and difficulties, but everyone, from call handlers, through to secretaries, nurses and doctors has been totally understanding and supportive. They are a great team, working together under difficult and pressurised circumstances. I have always treated them with politeness and respect, and they have always responded in kind. I would recommend this hardworking practice, and I’m delighted to note their CQC rating this year is ‘good’.

Review titled GP’s are great. Let down by admin and management
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Dean Jeffreys - Posted on 12 June 2023
Terrible experience today and I normally rave about this practice. The doctors themselves are great but I’m afraid in recent years the practice has become terrible. As of today I actually changed my doctors to another. The doctors need to look at the admin and office staff. They are letting the practice down and are rude and quite frankly unhelpful. I was pretty much called a liar today and asked to prove myself even though I’m 3 days out of surgery. The person on the phone made come to the practice to prove what medication I needed, even though it had been given in at both surgeries. I can’t say I’m happy leaving because certain doctors are first class. Sadly practices management and admin staff really really let the whole thing down.

Review titled Very Worrying
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Malcolm carpenter - Posted on 01 July 2023
I find it impossible to obtain an efficient service and at times any service from the practice. Nothing I can do gets the correct prescriptions and I have given up trying. Even my MP has tried. The latest fiasco was the change in the systems (yet again) to using just Apps for it would seem most of the interactions with them and I had to visit them to plead with them to obtain essential medical treatment for both me and my wife when she had been turned away. You cannot turn people away who are seeking essential medical services but over the last couple of years they have done just that.

Review titled Shocking communication and follow up
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 31 May 2023
Being tested for extreme fatigue, had 3 blood tests, latest one no communication from GP so rang practice. Receptionist advised all normal so no follow up. Ok so what about the thing that was being rechecked - is that ok now and if so why was it retested? Don't know. Ok so what about the tablets prescribed - do I carry on with them, will they be added to my repeat prescription? Don't know. Ok but nothing has changed re my symptoms so clearly I need to speak to someone to understand what happens now as the problem hasn't changed - can I speak to someone medical? No - you'll need to start a new e-consult!! Not happy but am sitting here now trying to do that and......"Your surgery isn't accepting e-consults until tomorrow"!!! And we wonder why a+e's are overwhelmed - broken NHS

Review titled Reception Staff
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 June 2023
I was trying to get in touch with the doctors regarding a referral, I tried to explain the situation to the receptionist who then cut me off stating I was giving too much information. I was told to do an econsult the following morning (as it is not open 24/7). I truly felt brushed off by the receptionist, at a time where faith in the system has never been lower.

Review titled Absolutely disgusting treatment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Megan - Posted on 11 April 2023
My grandad is extremely unwell and the way the staff have treated him is utterly disgusting. There is an extreme lack of concern it seems from all members of staff on all levels. Their completely inability to provide their patients any sort of substantial care is absolutely vile. He is dying and needs care to keep him comfortable. They completely disregard for a dying man makes me absolutely sick and all I can think is that they have literally no compassion, empathy or regard for human life.

Review titled Rude reception staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 21 April 2023
There are some very good GPs at this practice (the ones that are partners / salaried GPs). However some of the reception staff are so rude, condescending and clearly do not want to help people who are in urgent need of help. I called this morning and was told a GP would call me today. After not receiving a call I contacted the surgery and the lady I spoke to was so rude and nasty to me. I was absolutely polite and kept it together but needed urgent help. I burst into tears after the call and have given up. I know there are too many people for the amount of GPs but the whole administration of the Longfield and New Ash Green Surgeries need to be rebuilt. Such bad service and it’s only got worse over the last 10 years. Drastic action needs to be taken to fix the administrative problems.

Review titled Extreeemely good response.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Valerie Culley - Posted on 31 March 2023
I filled in an eConsult form at New Ash Green Surgery and returned it to the receptionist. 2 hours later a Doctor phoned to say a paramedic would call at my address in 30 minutes. The lady, extremely personable, gave me a thorough examination and diagnosed a severe hiatus hernia and would consult the doctor re medication. The doctor an hour later rang to confirm treatment. The response was incredibly good and cannot thank the team enough. Please pass on my thanks. Valeriexxx.

The surgery has had a bad wrap over the years but I have had a great experience of late and have been really well looked after. I have contacted on a regular basis discussing my on going meds, good job!
