From the GP who examined and advised to the receptionist who was grear to the nurse who removed my staples the whole experience was totally professional and all departments of the surgery were amazing. Thank you so much all of you.

Review titled No appointments
Rated 1 star out of 5

I had a small procedure at East Surrey hospital and was told by them to contact my GP practice to get my sutures removed. They only had appointments for 3 weeks time yet my sutures needed to be removed within 7 days. They told me to contact East Surrey which I duly did and they said they couldn't do it and my GP needed to make sure I got an appointment within the 7 to 9 day period. My sutures became septic and so I removed them myself. I am now hoping that the infection will clear as I will be unlikely to get an appointment just so that I can have antibiotics prescribed. Shameful

Review titled Making an appointment
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I called on the dot of 8 30. Was 8th in the queue. Got as far as 3rd when a voicemail kicked in telling me that no more appointments available today. This begs so many questions. The situation is unsatisfactory

Dear Jude I am sorry that when you contacted the surgery you could not be offered an appointment. We are currently experiencing increased demand on our services and only have a limited number of appointments available. Unfortunately we are not able to offer above this limited demand as we must ensure patient safety. Please be assured our clinicians are working to their full capacity and new appointments are available daily. Kind regards Sophie Patient Experience Team

Review titled Can't contact a Doctor at Judges Close to see me
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Robert Wilson - Posted on 15 March 2024
All GP appointments taken this morning at Judges Close by 8:35am. Tried to get an appointment online and also told that all GP appointments taken. I don't know how I'm supposed to get Medical advice. When I was last ill I was criticized by a GP at Crawley Medical Centre (NHS 111) for not getting a GP from my GP practise to examine me. NHS 111 said that they were getting too many patients from my GP Practise turning up there and it had to stop. My question is, what are we supposed to do if we can't get a GP appointment and NHS 111 are complaining when we contact them?

Review titled Extremely frustrating
Rated 1 star out of 5

The reception staff are rude, there is no need to speak to people that way and then they wonder why people are rude back. I understand the issues going on with the NHS at the moment but none of my friends seem to have the issues I have, I can never get an appointment, I rang up yesterday bang on 8:30 and was 7th in the queue, by the time I was 6th in the queue it was saying there are no more appointments. The receptionist was rude and uncaring, makes me wonder why she’s working there if she doesn’t care about people’s welfare. I went to a pharmacist and was told I have to see a doctor. When I try to call this morning it claims to be closed and keeps telling me to call back after 8:30… it is after 8:30?! I’m so fed up with this place it is the most useless doctors surgery I have ever been to, I’ve lived in third world countries with better medical care than this place.

Review titled Policy gets in the way of care
Rated 1 star out of 5

It took hours and several visits to sort out a hospital request for a simple blood test. Seems receptionists, who are very helpful, didn’t have access to certain systems that store forms Doctors refused to authorise a simple blood test because they believed it’s not their job. Only on the intervention of the practice manager did a form miraculously appear. Do not quote policy to a patient. Do not give patients the run around. Do not say it’s not your responsibility when it’s an internal NHS problem. Not Happy

Review titled Poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5

It is very hard to get an appointment. It is also very hard to get through on the phone. I called middle of the day as I missed a call from them. It takes a minute and a half of announcements before you even get to select an option to speak to someone. Then I got through to the queue and it said I was number 6. After waiting 14 minutes I had only gone down to queue number 4 and had to dial off. Their message to me just said Call Us Back, with no detail. Any time of day I call back to find out and it takes ages. They need far more staff, both doctors and reception.

Review titled Who cares???
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Shelley - Posted on 27 October 2023
I was on a call at 15:55pm Friday 27/0/23 when doctor called. I finished my call then I called doctor at 16:30pm. Receptionist didn't know which doctor called, and she told me to either call back on Monday, or wait and see if doctor would call back later in the day ... they didn't. So ..... what do I do???? Call back Monday..... will get same answer from receptionist.... so how to deal with this????
