  1. Review titled Appalling practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 October 2024

I have been attempting to get an in-person GP appointment for two years. Last week they informed me a new system would be being set up from 6am today Thursday 24th October 2024 so I dutifully got up to book an appointment. Nothing for 16 weeks or ever aside from the fact I was told I could book an appointment with my own doctor only one person's name was on the site and it was a Ms not a doctor. This practice is pointless, does not service it's long-term patients whatsoever and they offer no other help whatsoever when you call them up.

  2. Review titled Cannot get doctor appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Shelley Waymark - Posted on 08 August 2024

As I've tried to get an appointment with a doctor, and a few months ago a 111 doctor said I should be referred to a cardiologist and also have a chest examination, which I cannot get with my doctor, as cannot get an appt (!), I have booked a private complete health mot with Bluecrest within next week! Costs £886, but at least I will have all necessary tests and peace of mind, seeing as I've been having severe angina attacks everyday, near syncope (passing out), ambulance called 2days ago, and have chronic heart disease, and possibly copd, and my anxiety/depression levels high as cannot get appt with my nhs gp. So money well spent, and will also receive private gp advice for a year. Well done nhs gps and this Modality farce.

  4. Review titled No appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 March 2024

I had a small procedure at East Surrey hospital and was told by them to contact my GP practice to get my sutures removed. They only had appointments for 3 weeks time yet my sutures needed to be removed within 7 days. They told me to contact East Surrey which I duly did and they said they couldn't do it and my GP needed to make sure I got an appointment within the 7 to 9 day period. My sutures became septic and so I removed them myself. I am now hoping that the infection will clear as I will be unlikely to get an appointment just so that I can have antibiotics prescribed. Shameful

  5. Review titled Making an appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Jude Ellis - Posted on 13 March 2024

I called on the dot of 8 30. Was 8th in the queue. Got as far as 3rd when a voicemail kicked in telling me that no more appointments available today. This begs so many questions. The situation is unsatisfactory

  6. Review titled Can't contact a Doctor at Judges Close to see me

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Robert Wilson - Posted on 15 March 2024

All GP appointments taken this morning at Judges Close by 8:35am. Tried to get an appointment online and also told that all GP appointments taken. I don't know how I'm supposed to get Medical advice. When I was last ill I was criticized by a GP at Crawley Medical Centre (NHS 111) for not getting a GP from my GP practise to examine me. NHS 111 said that they were getting too many patients from my GP Practise turning up there and it had to stop. My question is, what are we supposed to do if we can't get a GP appointment and NHS 111 are complaining when we contact them?

  8. Review titled Extremely frustrating

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 January 2024

The reception staff are rude, there is no need to speak to people that way and then they wonder why people are rude back. I understand the issues going on with the NHS at the moment but none of my friends seem to have the issues I have, I can never get an appointment, I rang up yesterday bang on 8:30 and was 7th in the queue, by the time I was 6th in the queue it was saying there are no more appointments. The receptionist was rude and uncaring, makes me wonder why she’s working there if she doesn’t care about people’s welfare. I went to a pharmacist and was told I have to see a doctor. When I try to call this morning it claims to be closed and keeps telling me to call back after 8:30… it is after 8:30?! I’m so fed up with this place it is the most useless doctors surgery I have ever been to, I’ve lived in third world countries with better medical care than this place.

  10. Review titled Policy gets in the way of care

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 October 2023

It took hours and several visits to sort out a hospital request for a simple blood test. Seems receptionists, who are very helpful, didn’t have access to certain systems that store forms Doctors refused to authorise a simple blood test because they believed it’s not their job. Only on the intervention of the practice manager did a form miraculously appear. Do not quote policy to a patient. Do not give patients the run around. Do not say it’s not your responsibility when it’s an internal NHS problem. Not Happy
