    Constantly fobbed off, have chronic bladder infections keep getting referred to pharmacy but told by pharmacy they do not deal with more than one bladder infection within six months, doctors should obviously know this but keep constantly referring me to the pharmacy. Had an appointment made for another issue which was made for two weeks time, was told during the appointment the doctors to offer what I need. Why make appointment if you can't help? Terrible serive

    Yesterday (26/6/24) I had an ECG at Keston and Moorings GP practice at Purley War Memorial Hospital at 11.00am. I wasn’t looking forward to this procedure in case it revealed cardiac problems but the practitioner whose name I didn’t obtain, immediately put me at my ease and explained everything carefully and in great detail and was thoroughly professional in every aspect of her behaviour and was very animated and talkative. I felt very relaxed and my results, after being electronically transmitted were then evaluated by a doctor and I was allowed to leave immediately. I just wanted to say a heartfelt (literally) thank you to the practitioner and would be very grateful if you could supply be with her name at a later instance. She’s a real asset so please cosset her accordingly. Many thanks. Cathy Gillespie.

    this is a fantastic surgery, i regularly use for myself and my children. The website to book an appointment is a fantastic service and so easy to use, you leave your details and every single time I get a doctors appointment the same day. I had a bloods tests today and got results same day including ultrasound at Mayday. Amazing kind doctors and staff all of you. Thankyou so much. As a community we are all very very lucky to have you all

    Long delays in getting test results, Still waiting even though I know the results were received last Friday and despite reassurances via klinik that someone will contact me. Long waits for a telephone Appt and then not even a GP who conducted the call. Klinik system is fine if you have a straight forward request but for something more complex it often requires several messages back and forth until you get the response required. This can often take a couple of days by the time it is passed through several clinicians to the GP and back again, when actually a 5 minute phone call would have been much more efficient. Overall my interactions with the Practice over the last couple of months, for myself and my children, has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

    Good Morning I was saddened by your negative feedback and from your experience with the practice. Klinik online consultations works extremely well and calls are returned often within a couple of hours. Delays can occur when a patient has choosen an incorrect tile. When requesting test results we would always suggest a patient registers for the NHS App which enables them to see results and consultations as soon as the are received by the practice.     I needed the GP to provide me with simple paperwork and trying to ask the receptionists to action this task was very difficult. It has been nothing but a headache and I wish I had not moved into the area and been forced to change my previous GP

    Good Morning Sorry to have read about your negative experience with our practice. As you have complained anonymously I am unable to look into your complaint. On a general note, all forms are handed in to the reception desk. A fee is discussed and requested prior to any forms being completed. We ask for for 10 working days for the completion of all forms.     My mum has burnt her thumb which is healing but after visiting the pharmacy was told to ring doctors because it is still very red and hot tried three times today and have got nowhere she is 90 and they said go to Caterham Dean can't do that run the hub and no appointments disgusting

    Good Morning I am sorry that you have felt the need to complain regarding the service you received. Unfortunately we are not an accident and emergency department, therefore are unable to assist with such events. The practice may have been able to assist with a dressing with a nurse but I note you contacted the practice in the afternoon by which time we did not have any appointments remaining. I can see that we offered the appropriate advice regarding Caterham Dene. I am sorry that you do not drive but would have suggested securing a taxi or bus in the of getting you Mum seen.     I have had a couple of reasons recently to visit my GP. The practice has introduced a new online booking service which I couldn't be more impressed with. It's extremely easy to use and it was reliable and very effective in securing the attention I needed. I received very quick attention from my GP which was very reassuring. I attended the surgery and found all staff, reception and medical alike, to be polite, helpful, kind and very efficient. Thank you Keston Medical Practice for such an outstanding service.

    I’ve tried three times today to speak to Keston regarding a prescription that’s late in being sent. After waiting 20 minutes on phone I spoke to a young woman working from home who had never set foot in Keston MP and had no idea what to do about my query. She was completely clueless, spoke so slowly, and kept forgetting my name and details. She was hopeless. Why aren’t staff answering the phone in Keston Medical Practice? It’s disgraceful employing someone who is inexperienced, unknowledgable, and totally clueless. I’m now still without my hugely necessary medication. The NHS needs to sort this out urgently!

    Good Morning Thank you for your feedback. Staff answering the telephones are employed purely to take details and follow the appropriate pathway when directing the query. In order not to queue on the telephone, which the practice hope will only be used by patients who are unable to communicate, there is a facility on KLINIK for prescription queries.
