I had an appointment today which I felt the dr met my needs and requirements quickly and efficiently. I honestly feel safe in the drs hands at this practice.

  2. Review titled Poor service

After being told to ring in the morning as no appointments left for the day and this being the case for 4 days running and ringing at 8am I decided to ring 111 to get advice and found them to be most helpful actually listened instead of being in a hurry to put the phone down and they got an appointment at the surgery where theres no appointments left!! This practice needs reviewing as it’s putting patients with long term health conditions at risk

We apologise that you had to wait an appointment. We are currently receiving an unprecedented amount of requests for appointments at the moment. The demand on the NHS is exceptionally high and we try to meet supply with demand. On this occasion we have failed to meet your requirements. 111 have allocated appointments in our surgery and these appointments can only be booked by 111 and are unavailable for our staff to book.

I attended my appointment today and the reception staff were very polite, the lady checked in my appointment as the electronic system did not work. I saw a lady doctor who was wonderful, she listened, understood and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I left my appointment feeling reassured and happy with the treatment that I received. When leaving the appointment I had another query about a prescription for my daughter, the blond haired lady on reception was lovely, she took time to investigate the pending prescription with the nurse and the problem was sorted out. I have never had any issues with the surgery and I find under the current pressures the nhs are under the staff always try their best to help.

  4. Review titled Terrible reception

I rang this morning at 830am but all appointments had gone, that's fair enough, so because of my "problem" possible hernia sticking out my belly I rang 111 they told me they would be booking me a appointment and so I checked my app and there it was an appointment made for 4pm excellent I thought but it said telephone appointment? So I think ok that's fine, then the surgery phone me to inform me that infact it was a face to face appointment, I have real problems with my mental health issues 1 of which is waiting rooms so I get there on time infact ten minutes early to be told that I should have been there at 3.20 I say no 111 sent me the appointment, the other 2 receptionists were lovely, but the other 1 seemed to already have a bee in her bonnet she was rude and I felt she was aiming her whatever it was at me I'm sick of being treated this way by by 1 receptionist it's not fair to the others who work there or patient's, all the Dr's and staff are genuinely lovely and trying there best in very hard times and I'm sorry I just needed to say something because no body has the right to make you feel uncomfortable or confused

  5. Review titled Brilliant reception staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Gemma - Posted on 01 June 2023

This doctors deserves a lot of praise from my own experience, I understand that everyone has their own experience but I couldn’t thank them enough! Got through in ann afternoon for my little girl who was quite ill after she got home from nursery. Spoke to a young lad on phone who was so helpful, began to look at some appointments within the next few days and wasn’t none left. So he began to ask what was wrong with her which I told him, very thorough with asking questions and made clear to go to hospital if she had started to become worse, which I understood as I am a nurse myself so very impressed with the compassion from reception stafff I then received a call back to say that the doctor would like to see me in the next few hours to which I arrived, brilliant service from him too!

  6. Review titled Highly commended

I accompanied me 94 year old mother who was treated like royalty. The Dr explained ever step of the process in detail in terms that my mother could easily understand. The receptionist was so helpful when I explained that I would need to travel some distance to accompany my mother. I pay a lot of money for medical insurance and I would pay even more for the level of service that this team provide.

  8. Review titled Terrible Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I started my call at 08:29 as it connected it went to 08.30 The time the practice opens Only to be told that I was 11 in the queue How I had been bang on 8.30 when my call was answered by a recorded message. I waited for 40 minutes then told by the receptionist that they had no appointments left. Asked if I could see a nurse practitioner We know longer have one. We only had. Now get this 6 appointments available today! You will have to try again tomorrow I then said oh yes so I am 11 in the queue again or knowing my luck even higher That you don’t have any appointments left! Absolutely ridiculous

Thank you for leaving feedback. We are sorry that you have had trouble getting through to us on the telephone. We are currently under significant demand pressures and our phone lines are always very busy. Our same date appointments are often all taken very early in the morning. You could ask reception for a pre-bookable appointment for a date in the future. Our standard procedure on occasions when the day’s appointments have been allocated and a patient feels they have an urgent matter is that the details are taken and referred to a doctor for assessing and response

  9. Review titled Worse than ever!

Rated 1 star out of 5

It is now harder and harder to get an appointment at this place. You call at 8:30am, and you either can't get through, or you are queuing to get through, only to be cut off as soon as the appointments are taken. I called for my 3yr old at 8:30 and was position 10 in the queue, at 9:10 I was position 2 and at that point was cut off, immediately rang back and was told all appointment were taken for that day and I would have to try again the next day. That means there were only 8 appointments available for that day. Ridiculous! I called 111 and they advised they had managed to book a telephone appointment with the same GP surgery on the same day! How does this make sense. I have then tried to call for myself today as I have been suffering with my mental health the past few weeks, but yet again I have been unable to get through. I am I supposed to get help and support from my GP when firstly, I have to try and call at 8:30am during the school run and I'm driving, and secondly, they only have about 8 appointments available a day?
