    Unable to get appointments, no booking apart from on the day. Phone lines on hold for ages. Ring back service not working. This practice has declined to a level where action needs to be taken either by the Doctors or ultimately by the NHS. I never thought that I would have to leave a review saying not fit for purpose

    Tried to book a doctors appointment in the automated system for either face to face or phone call back and guess what no appointments available! I was told on Friday last week to do this and sent home by receptionist at front desk and I have and I still cannot get an appointment! I have bulging discs in my lumbar and having issues walking and sitting and sleeping now my work is effected !! This is becoming a bit like medical negligence as I cannot get any appointments at all !! What is going on ! I pay national insurance ! I was told last week maybe go private on!! Why is it so hard to see a doctor at this surgery I have been with them for over 30 years and it’s never been this bad !!! So disappointed and in pain ! Unnecessary pain ! That you !! It’s suppose to be a new system to help patients! Well it has not !!

    From my initial call right through to collecting my prescription everyone I spoke to/saw (appointments, reception, doctor, nurse, pharmacy) was professional, caring, helpful and considerate. I have been treated with so much kindness, dignity and respect, particularly the doctor, who organised a blood test appointment while I waited. Thank you very much for looking after me so quickly.

    I have recently moved from my old GP surgery to King's Medical and having read the reviews here I thought I had made a huge mistake. 1st call to them there was a 20 minute wait, I then requested the option of calback. 10 minutes later I was talking to a member of staff, everything sorted. Today I did the same to request a flu jab, by 4pm same day I had my flu and covid jab. All done. I then made a nurses appointment whilst there for December all booked in. I do understand the phone delays but can assure you it was the same in my previous surgery. By using the call back I got to the front of the queue quicker. I cannot fault them, everyone was nice and I hope under the staff shortages at the moment, people take that in to account.

    I transferred to Kings a couple of months ago he to moving house. The process from registering at the surgery was seamless and the staff were so helpful. I have had my first appointment today and every single stage was just so easy and stress free. From the telephone lines and options, to actually booking the appointment, and today attending the surgery from check in and treatment. My appointment was on time which I was not used to at my previous practice, I was offered a chaperone for my assessment, and all staff greeted me with smiles and were obviously very knowledgable and great at their jobs. I feel in good hands at Kings and think other surgeries could learn a lot from their processes and the way their staff treat patients with dignity and respect.

    21 days ago I rang to book an appointment. Waited over 1h and that was in the afternoon round 2pm. I finally got through and got appointment (miracle) on the 20th of September and that was phone call appointment which is a joke to wait nearly a month on phone appointment. I told the receptionist I'm 24 yo and in last few week I got heart problems so I'd love to speak to gp to which she said if it gets any worst go to hospital. Me, not wanting to waste hard working hospital staff time decided to first see my gp but clearly that's impossible ! I can't ring in morning to book the same day as its usually over 40mins wait time and I work in morning. So them canceling my phone appointment today and not even telling me is a joke!!! Tried calling them now 4pm but my estimated wait time is 47 mins. Worst worst gp I have ever had to deal with! You'll die before you'll get appointment there

    Waiting an hour to get through. First available Dr’s call (not face to face) 10th October. I was Sent an email to request medication which bounced back!undeliverable. Need CoVid jab early before chemo told to visit pharmacists to enquire!! We deserve better than this - disgraceful

    I am absolutely discussed. Rang 5 weeks ago following having covid and feeling rubbish. Was told the first appointment was 20 September and then found that this was to be a telephone consultation. Carried mobile around with me as soon as I got up but somehow missed the call - phone not on silent? Listen to message from doctor who said he had rung all 3 numbers? No record on landline and don't have a third number???? Tried to ring the surgery only to be advised over one hour waiting time..... so got in the car. Less than a handful of patients sat down but queue to reception desk. Finally got to reception and said missed the call only to be advised he had rung 4 times - not true as neither my partner nor I are deaf and no call was logged on landline?? Receptionist advised a doctor will call me later this morning - disgusting way to treat patients and everyone I speak to says the same - Kings Medical has gone down the pan....

    I've been very impressed by the surgery’s service. I've needed the practice's help twice over recent months for different issues. On both occasions, my contact has been handled in a professional and friendly way, telephone triage appointments have been set up in a matter of minutes and action/follow-up has been faultless.
