  1. Review titled Bad attitude from a doctor.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Yesterday I went to see a doctor about my gastroenteritis issue. The doctor I met being sarcastic to me about being a foreigner in this country. It’s really rude and impolite of him doing that especially I am an international student living here alone, being a patient in a vulnerable state.

  2. Review titled Great staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a great experience today! I got the date for my blood test wrong and the receptionist was super helpful and tried to squeeze me in. The nurse agreed to see me and was very nice about taking my blood, even though my veins are terrible!

  3. Review titled Great Experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was booked for a medical review and I came in late but she made the time to see me. Rather quickly too. She efficiently completed multiple medical reviews and she did so with great enthusiasm and friendliness.

  5. Review titled Rude and unprofessional

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 September 2023

The doctors are rude and harsh. I had requested full blood test and face-to-face appointment on patchs but all I got was a phonecall with a physiotherapist and an appointment with doctor who cancelled last moment. The staff rescheduled my appointment with another doctor who had no idea about my medical history and when I explained my condition, he became extremely rude and accused me of 'giving him attitude'. He continued talking over me and became dismissive and patronising. Such unprofessional and rude behaviour is not what I had expected from a trained medical professional. Other staff members, specifically receptionists are also unhelpful and are least bothered to listen to patients requests.

This is my regular clinic. I have dealt with a number of the doctors and nurses at this practice and I have had nothing but positive experiences. I feel heard and cared about. Thank you King's Health Centre!

  7. Review titled Great practice, awful new booking system

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 July 2023

The care I've had at this General Practitioner practice has always been excellent, but their new booking system is awful. The new process for a routine appointment is that you fill in a form between 0800-1400 and someone triages it and offers you advice or an appointment with someone appropriate. Despite it being a form and not a live chat, you can't fill it in any other time so you have to remember to find time in that very specific slot, something that took me 2 months. It took me 20 minutes to register with the form provider Patch, and the form isn't visible anywhere in the NHS app under that name, so the instructions are poorly written. Then, even if you prefer not to conduct business by phone, someone calls and you have to go back and forth looking for an available time. Despite going through this, it turned out I'd been offered the wrong sort of appointment, and it needed to be a General Practitioner appointment instead (what I'd expected in the first place) so I had another phone call at a fairly inconvenient time, to try and find another slot in my calendar. Once again, no online, visual option was available. You used to be able to book online, and see a list of available appointments which was so much easier and quicker all around. It's an incredibly opaque and unpleasant way to make the booking, even though I know the care I get eventually will be great. I can't imagine trying to navigate this system as someone with Attention Deficit Disorder, or new to the United Kingdom or with English as a second language, or even just as someone who feels ill. Post script: this site won't let me put any works in all caps, including the health service or the type of doctor I'm referring to.

  8. Review titled Great practice, but bizarre lack of privacy

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 May 2023

Great practice and majority of the GPs I've encountered have been lovely. But not sure why the only place to drop off specimens is right at the front of the reception? Having to drop off samples is uncomfortable enough as it is, without having to do it in front of everybody else in the waiting room. Surely this will deter people from dropping off samples and thus receiving the help they need.
