Review titled Not great
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Danuta K - Posted on 21 October 2024
very poor service. i sent them an email last friday because i have a stomach issue, im vomiting, and diarrhoea and i feel very unwell because they are not answering the phones. they sent me a text message: (unfortunately, we no longer have any available appointments. if you require our services, please contact us on our phone lines at 8 am on monday . if your condition is urgent, please contact a&e or nhs 111. If you wish to have a telephone consultation with a gp, you can contact the camden gp hub after 5 pm on 02073919979. thanks, kings cross surgery) so,i called the number 02073919979, and i managed to speak with a doctor who said that i need to do stool and blood tests and that i should contact my gp to schedule these tests. i tried to do that just now today at 11.57 am . the receptionist was very rude, unprofessional and of course, she said they had no information about it and that i had to call them back and do the tests there because my surgery will not help me . she didn’t even let me say, “thank you and have a nice day,” she just angrily hung up. so now, im still in pain and on my own, so i don’t recommend this service. i don’t know what i can do more about but i will find out .

Review titled Called in for appointment that I didn’t need
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I received a notice for a cervical screening. I took work off, I waited for longer than I should’ve, only to be told I didn’t need the screening and the notice shouldn’t have been sent out. But I still need to go back in another few months. Was told if the dr did it now the lab would “reject” my test.

Review titled Horrific Practice
by Anonymous - Posted on 27 August 2024
DO NOT REGISTER, ESPECIALLY IF LOOKING FOR HELP WITH MENTAL HEALTH OR FEMALE HEALTH ISSUES Receptionist so rude I have been left in tears, Drs unable to find referrals they sent out for me, frustrating appointments where the most simple details of my illness (i.e. when it started) are unable to be understood, often not offered care or follow-up care and leaving appointments with no solutions to what I took time out of my day to come see them about - as far as being told "we cannot help you" and not being offered an appointment when deeply struggling with side effects of a medication they put me on (when I finally got them to give me an appointment after several more requests, they told me all they could do was stop my prescription or continue it).

Review titled Poor services
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 June 2024
I have been with this practice for a year now and I am very dissatisfied. The waiting room doesn't have enough privacy: it's too close to the GP rooms plus people can hear every interaction between the receptionists and the patients. Some of the receptionists are rude and don't let people finish to provide explanation. I once was cut midway while explaining the reasons for my call. Pretty much every single time, I saw my GP with a minimum of 30-40 minutes delay on the scheduled appointment. The communication is poor. Resuming, I always felt uncared for.

I really wonder what they are doing at the reception desk and they can't handle the phone. As a patient, it is impossible to call and make an appointment! personally, it is difficult for me to come, I have been trying to call for two weeks, both in the morning and in the afternoon, the phone rings, but no one knows!!! What are you sitting on? do your job and pick up the phones

Review titled Dismissive and unhelpful
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 March 2024
They booked a holistic review with me, cancelled it once for no reason, then cancelled a 2nd time claiming I wasn't due until August, despite me pointing out that I actually do have worrying symptoms that need assessing. The surgery is wasting their time and my time - what pointlessness. I'm not sure if this is down to incompetence or genuine lack of care - but someone there needs to reassess if they really want to help people or not.

Review titled Actively want to not help you
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 January 2024
Admin staff are usually rude and dismissive. They seem to want to get you off the list without you getting any support. One example is often being told that someone called, when they didn't, and that my appointment request is cancelled and I have to wait until the next day.

Review titled Great Practice

I have been registered within this practice for a couple of years now and both clinical and admin staff have been always kind and approachable. The IQportal allows me to interact and navigate their services quite easily and they are delivered timely.

Review titled Dismissive staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 July 2023
Staff are dismissive and rude, including the receptionist and doctor. Cutting patients off while they are talking is incredibly unprofessional. It is not great to be talked down on while you are explaining your own health situation. The surgery's staff needs retraining.
