    Had an important appointment cancelled 3 times due to staff sickness and told I needed to wait another 2 weeks for the appointment as no one else in the practice able to do it. I understand that staff get sick but there is no contingency plan in place and to have to wait for important appointments is not suitable.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your appointment. Unfortunately, staff sickness is sometimes unavoidable, which necessitates rapid adjustments to patient schedules. Our practice is dedicated to ensuring that patient care and needs are met in a timely manner. We are fortunate to have a contingency plan in place, allowing us to coordinate with other practices within our Primary Care Network (PCN). This collaboration enables patients to attend these practices to ensure that their care is maintained without excessive delays, even when our practice faces unforeseen challenges. Thank you for your understanding, and please know that we are committed to providing the best possible care for our patients

    Opening times are stated as 8am to 6.30pm. I have tried to phone mid day twice and been held on line for 15 minutes in queue #1and my call has not been answered. If reception is not available during 12-2pm could a message not be left when dialling the surgery that the reception is closed during these times, or put reception times on your website. This has been a regular occurrence. Very frustrating not getting a response. Thank you.

    I am a new patient to the practice and I have been very impressed with my experience so far . I have been made to feel welcome and I am so glad I have joined . Everyone has been friendly and helpful and this has given me great reassurance for when I need to seek their help, support or guidance in the future. Thank you Kings Lane .

    Phoned doctors as I suddenly felt ill the receptionist got me in to see doctor within the hour I was examined and was told to go to straight to hospital were they were waiting for me I had Xray, blood tests and ECG they found I had pneumonia and pancreatitis and I was there for eight days thanks to all the wonderful staff at Kingslane medical practice I'm now on the mend and getting fantastic after care

    Recently I had an exemplary experience at the surgery, such a change for the better. Last year it seemed impossible to obtain any help, phoning at 8.00am and not getting anywhere. However last week I met a receptionist who listen, appeared helpful and caring. I met there a Physician's Associate who was excellent. She gave confidence, was practically skilful and friendly. She could teach interpersonal skill to many recuits in the NHS. Well done!

    Tried to get an appointment to see a doctor. We can only ring at 8 o'clock in the morning. After 113 attempts I got through but all the appointments had gone. I know these good people a stretched but as a patient I think the service is not a good experience. Hopefully a solution can be found soon because on the whole this is a decent surgery

    Thank you for your comments. We have recently changed our appointment systems allowing patients to book online, we have now prebook able appointments and E-consults. Patients needing to be seen urgently by a Doctor will always be seen on the same day.
