Thank you to the lovely receptionist this evening. So helpful and generally caring. I called to try and get the next available appointment. The receptionist was so helpful and tried everything to get me the appointment for my son. I’m so thankful!

I recently needed to contact the surgery to book a nurse appt and a GP appt. Kingsfield is a great practice. I can always get an appointment when I need one, phones are answered and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. GPs and nurses are thorough and professional. I am very grateful, thank you!

Just wanted to say thank you for wonderful service from the surgery and nurse for my appointment. The reception team went way above and beyond to find me an appointment time to suit me and the nurse was kind, informative and reassuring throughout.

  6. Review titled Doctors are kind and compassionate!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Victoria Perry - Posted on 25 November 2024

I had an urgent appointment this morning. I want to leave a review to show my appreciation for how kind, compassionate and encouraging the doctor was. She listened to me in a non-judgemental way, was extremely thorough in her questions and examinations and explained everything clearly throughout the appointment, and was patient, friendly and put me competely at ease. I am grateful that this doctor is a GP at my surgery and would gladly see her again. Thank you so much!

, I cannot express my thanks for your time and patience today. We have not had any help since hubby came out of hospital March 2023! He has been to the Dr's when he was getting his licence back but they are on such a tight schedule he didn't want to take up their time. We are so grateful to you we definitely have the best GP practice and staff!!

  8. Review titled Transfer Experiance

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Aan CH - Posted on 18 February 2024

I recently transferred to Kingsfield Medical Centre. From the first day every body who dealt with me (Reception, Doctor and Pharmacist) was so positive and professional and the atmosphere of the Centre so caring and patient centered that I was overwhelmed. Ihave not experienced anything similar for a long time.I am so grateful to have been accepted and for the care that I have already receivved. Thank you.

  9. Review titled Please Be Inclusive

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 February 2024

Why is it that every time that I try to hand in a prescription on behalf of an elderly relative I am told that the receptionist can’t/won’t accept it? Only after producing photographic evidence of a sign previously displayed in the practice foyer is the prescription begrudgingly accepted. The sign clearly stated that prescriptions would still be accepted by reception if the patient did not have access to the internet, a telephone or had communication problems.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As the review is anonymous, I have been unable to discuss your concerns with you. I am sorry if you felt that the Receptionist was unhelpful as this is never our intention. You are indeed, correct, that we will always accept a prescription request from patients who have communication needs, have no telephone or internet. I am sorry if you felt that this was not a straight forward process and caused you any upset. I have today discussed this complaint with the Reception team and reinforced the situation where patients struggle to request a prescription, and that we must always be empathetic and help patients and families to the best we can. I hope that the next time you need to make a request, it is a more satisfactory process for you. The Practice Manager

  10. Review titled Unacceptable waiting times with baby

Rated 2 stars out of 5

    by J E - Posted on 12 January 2024

My Grand Daughter had an appointment today at 11.10hrs and as I write this review is still waiting to be seen. The time now is gone mid day. Totally unacceptable that you should make babies wait this long to be seen. I understand that sometimes someone may take a little longer and cause a short delay but not 50 mins plus. Babies should be prioritised due to feeding schedules etc. My Daughter has spoken to staff but as per never very helpful. I feel the Practice Manager should review and ensure this does not occur again.

Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear that you had a long wait to see the Doctor with your Grand-daughter and baby. Unfortunately, the Doctors can run a little late if they are seeing a very poorly or complex patient. However, if this happens, Reception notify any patients that are waiting and inform them of the delay. I am sorry if this did not happen? I have spoken to our Reception team to reinforce this procedure should a Doctor run late, and also to be aware if any babies are waiting longer than necessary, that we inform the GP. I hope that your next visit to the Practice is more satisfactory in relation to waiting times. The Practice Manager
