I almost don’t want to recommend the surgery as it means more people will join it! But they are excellent. Night and day to my past surgery. Every single, person is kind, caring and helpful. It never feels like anyone is just "doing their job", it feels like they genuinely care. The front desk staff were patient on my last visit and answered every question. The Clinician I saw for my appointment was kind, caring and helpful as is every other person I've dealt with at Knights Hill.

The GP was very helpful and gave solutions to my problem quickly. I really appreciate I was able to submit my concern via e-consult/online services, as I wasn’t sure the issue was urgent. I appreciate how efficient they were at answering and that the information the GP provided was also sent by text so i could check in my own time.

I had a telephone appointment yesterday to discuss some details of a DEXA scan, and it was a very positive experience. To start with, I was pleasantly surprised that I only had to wait about a week from the day of contacting the surgery (and only little more for my upcoming in person appointment, for a different issue). The only minor inconvenience was that I received the call after the allocated time. The clinician explained they had had some issues and apologized, then proceeded to address my doubts in a very thorough and clear manner. He was very professional and approachable, and made sure I was happy with the explanation. I felt cared for and supported. Very satisfied!

My most recent experience was with a pharmacist when my medication was reviewed after monitoring an earlier prescription. An alternative was prescribed in satisfactory way. My appointment was squeezed in despite the minimal appointment slots. Dedicated, empathic, and professional. Standards maintained services delivered.

I had to wait just under a week for this phone consultation, but they called on time and gave me a good length of time to discuss everything. He showed real genuine care for me, and doctors like him are hard to find. He's not the only great doctor at this practice, they're all lovely.

I’ve lived in London for 12 years and moved over from Australia, I couldn’t believe how difficult it was to find/contact/register with new practices when I moved house. Fortunately I moved to West Norwood five years ago and since easily registering with Knights Hill Surgery, i have never had a bad experience. They are always friendly, call when they say they will, always run on time and are always able to get me in within a reasonable timeframe.

I want to say a huge Thank You to the surgery. I called them on 3 January and was given an appointment the same afternoon because they knew I was really worried. The doctor I saw then organised for King’s Hospital to give me an Xray the following evening. I’m so grateful to everyone I dealt with for being so sensitive and caring and for helping me avoid a possibly lengthy, and therefore stressful, wait for an appointment.

Getting a repeat prescription from this surgery is an absolute nightmare! If you email the surgery with prescription, they completely ignore the email and do not act on the request for days. Then if you telephone them, they deny receiving the email. If you complain about this to the GP, they will advise you to use the NHS app for requesting repeat prescription, but NHS App does not connect with the GP Surgery system. You end up waiting for days often without medications or having to rely on over the counter medications at extra cost. Doctors who work in the surgery are very good and professional and want to do the right thing! But everything else around support services that are essential for the surgery to work well is inadequate and do not work. Some staff in the reception are good, but then you have some bad apples, who are genuinely rude and do not want to serve patients. It is a constant battle speaking to the surgery and getting a prescription from them. They behave as if it is coming from their personal pockets! With regret I have to conclude that that this surgery is not fit for purpose and I would discourage and dissuade people from registering with this surgery.

I have had wonderful treatment at this practice. Helpful and knowledgeable reception staff, and all the GPs have been caring and given me time to discuss things without being rushed.

I've recently attended Knights Hill Surgery twice, and on both occasions, everyone was friendly, courteous, and professional. The on-site paramedic and GP I saw were great. The practice is clean and tidy and the front desk staff are always very pleasant to engage with. I've lived in the area for 6 years and highly rate this practise.
