Rated 1 star out of 5

Whenever I phone to make an Dr. appt in the morning exact time been told you are number 10 or 11 why ?? So when I get through been told sorry no appointments left?? How come.....why ?? Unprofessional Receptionists .....happened so many times with me then I hav to make next week !! Be easier if you can make Dr.appointments online rather than talking to rude Receptionists. Now only Nurses appointments online available in this surgery .

Dear Patient We understand how frustrating this can be. Our phone lines can be very busy in the mornings and this is a common nationwide issue, and appointments are booked quickly due to high demand. We do offer online booking for nurse appointments, as well as advance booking for Drs and we are continually reviewing ways to improve access to GP appointments. If you have any concerns about staff conduct, please contact the practice directly so we can address them. Kind regards Practice Manager

Review titled Poor service

Had an issue with my skin last year. Was told "the doctor will call you back". Did not happen and this same outcome kept happening after several calls. Went in person and kicked up a fuss and eventually got referred to a specialist. The specialist told me to book a blood test with the gp. They said the doctor will call you back between 2 - 530. I missed the call and was told I'll have to try again the next day. 1 year in and been seen to once.

Dear Patient we are sorry to hear about your experience; we understand your frustration. Drs have 10 minutes appointment which they sometimes might runover due to patient's complex needs or supporting other staff with queries. For blood tests, your specialist should have arranged this directly rather than referring you back to your GP. Unfortunately, this is a common issue where hospitals shift their workload onto an ever stretched primary care. In future, you could book an appointment with our nurse for a blood test if you have the information needed. Kind Regards Practice Manager
