    Came with my 2yr old for his flu vaccination today. Welcomed by friendly and efficient reception team, promptly seen by a very friendly nurse for vaccine, and out within 5 mins. I have also previously had excellent experiences with both my own and children's health appointments. The staff have always seemed very happy to help. Thank you for your ongoing hard work.

    The whole experience was so easy. Directed to an area, a short wait before my turn. My details were taken in a clear concise manner but friendly too, putting me at my ease. I had the covid booster and flu vaccines and they were both painlessly administered. I was back in my car within fifteen minutes. Thank you.

    went in to book an appointment for flu jab the receptionist found one I then asked if it was possible to have flu and Covid booster at the same time an appointment was booked for the next morning. on arrival I was checked in .when I went to have my injections every thing was explained excellent treatment from all .

    Fortunately I am retired and therefore can spend many hours trying to get any sort of appointment. The chances of getting to see a GP are very slim to impossible. I feel sorry for the staff having to deal with irate "clients" whilst remaining calm under fire. The only thing that seems to work satisfactorily is DocTrin. The ghastly telephone protocol must be addressed. "Ring to join a queue" that then usually means trying again tomorrow. How do those who cannot spare the time to "Join a queue" only to be told "try again tomorrow", but the whole process has to be then replicated "tomorrow". In short, the whole Lakeside organisation is not fit for purpose and does not seem to be improving. My fervent hope, for myself and others is that we remain illness free, because by the time we are able to actually see a GP, it may be too late.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am the patient services manager at Lakeside Healthcare Stamford. I am sorry you have experienced long wait times on the telephone. We are currently recruiting to fill vacant positions in the reception team, we have included admin roles to assist with the telephone demand at busy times. We offer the Doctrin platform as a alternative method to contact the surgery for non-urgent issues, this then reduces the demand on the telephone lines for the patient's that are unable to access online platforms. We offer a same day appointment service, the clinicians have face to face appointments available in their clinic to book patient's into if they require a examination. Once we are at capacity for same day appointments, we direct our patients to 111.     I contacted Sheepmarket via Doctrin to make an appointment for the flu and covid booster vaccinations. Then I arrived at the time of the appointment and was straight through in a couple of minutes. Very efficient service.
