  1. Review titled Rude doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had a telephone appointment with a doctor about an injured wrist. She never asked to see me to check it. Instead, she continuously asked me over the phone how come your wrist isn’t getting better. I told her I don’t know why and all I would like is someone to have a look at it. Her tone was rough and rude and told me ‘ well if you want me to look at your wrist then come so I can look at it!’ She continued saying ‘do you want me to look at your wrist?’ In a very rude tone. I calmly replied, no thank you, I’ll have someone else look at it. I asked her for her name and after telling me her name, she spelt it out rudely and hang up the phone. I rang up reception and explained to the receptionist what happened, the receptionist said she’ll pass me on to someone else. While speaking to this person, she told me that the doctor had written that she offered me an appointment to see me before writing me a sick note and I refused. When I told her no this isn’t what happened, she repeatedly told me to calm down and told me this is how things work when you need a sick note. She said I must get seen first. I told her I know that, that’s why I told the doctor in the first place, ‘all I wanted was someone to look at my wrist.’ And told her the doctor did not offer me an appointment until I said this to her. The Second Lady wasn’t rude but quickly jumped into the doctor’s side. I felt like I was mistreatedI’m definitely going to change my GP.

  2. Review titled One awful clinician

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Wanted letter re going abroad, was told probably didn't need one. I felt better with one as have a lot of meds. Was told there would be a charge, which I already know. Then was told its 4 weeks for nhs letters. I have searched larkhill Web site and nhs Web site, couldn't actually find anything re nhs letters. After much deliberation, and after many years at practice, I think it's time to call it a day and change prsctices
