    Had Blood Shot eye for 4 days, vision blurry, eye felt tired. phoned Larksfield, waited on line 58 minutes, gave up and phoned 111. Was told that I would get call back from GP. Phoned surgery at 1:30 as had not heard from them. Waited on phone 56 minutes, gave up. Call back from triage who advised me to contact urgent eye care. Did as advised. In the meantime got text from surgery advising appointment at Arlesey Medical Centre at 4pm. Rushed to get there, driving with blurred vision, I knew was not safe but desperately needed to see GP. Got there on time for appointment, waited 6 minutes before admin looked up from keyboard to acknowledge me and said it was a phone consultation. I showed her the text messsge saying Appointment at Arlesey Medical Centre. She said “I know but It Is a phone appointment. I said I don’t understand why An Appointment at destination can be a phone appointment. She shrugged her shoulders and said nothing. I walked out of there absolutely disgusted. Did not receive call from GP, 3 days later still no call back. This is not an isolated incident. Seriously considering changing GP surgery due to perceived lack of care. Currently awaiting Cardioversion and am very anxious about any related issues that may be connected as well as several other ongoing health issues. I feel the general lack of duty of care and difficulty in seeing/ talking to a GP is totally unacceptable. I have been a patient at Larksfield surgery for 20 years and it is sad to see the decline in service during that time.

    I work as an Administrator for a care provider and we have to ring to make appointments for some of our service users. We are invariably in the queue for about an hour before we get through although today it's been over 2hrs and we're still not through. I don't believe there is that many people holding on in a queue, I just think the phone gets ignored. This is such a poor service!!

    We were sorry to read your haven't been able to get through on the telephone. Please do use our online services on our website going forward where possible. An online form can be submitted on behalf of a a patient and our triage service opens at 8am . Our telephone lines are extremely busy and our receptionists do prioritise calls as well as patients at the front desk .
