itried to book a review for my wife, to have a review of her medication as instructed via her medication prescription. i was allocated a date of 16/02/23.i was also informed that it would be via a phone call. surely this must be incorrect, how can a review via the phone be the way to review her medicine

Had bizzare experience with this practice, it is impossible to book an appointment with them, they just don't accept seeing you. I have tried to book an appointment for several years and never had one. They only do "same day appointments" since covid, and don't book in advance. And apparently my condition is not serious enough for a same day appointment so it's impossible to see a GP. I had to go private to get treatment as I was feeling very poorly (diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism), spent thousands of pounds. Private doctor that examined me and prescribed medicine tried contacting my surgery to arrange once-twice per year blood tests, GP surgery hung up on him several times. He wrote a letter which was obviously ignored too. I am trying for about a year to get a GP appointment to discuss the outcome of my private doctors visit and further treatment and it's impossible to book an appointment, receptionists just say no and hang up. I now have ear infection for almost 2 months that does not go away, I am trying to get an appointment and they wont book me in either, they are saying that since I do not have fever it is not urgent enough, told me to speak to Livi Dr multiple times, I spoke to Livi GP twice, both times was told to book a physical exam, Livi GP assured that they leave notes for my GP practice to see, called up to book a GP visit, receptionists keep saying its not urgent enough??? Absolutely bizzare

I have been a patient at this surgery for over 20 years, and they have always been fantastic. They treated my son through childhood & also my partner who had COPD, as well as myself with depression. All the staff I have come into contact with, the receptionists, Doctors, nurses, have always been very kind, friendly, compassionate & helpful. Many people complain about the frustration of contacting surgeries & seeing the Dr but long as you follow their procedures of filling in the online triage form for a same day appointment, you always will either get a call or be seen by the Dr if it is urgent. I can't say I have ever felt frustrated with this surgery, you just have to be patient & realise they are trying to do their best under difficult circumstances. Yes, you may be number 12 or more in the queue, but surely that tells you that you're not the only ill person in the world, and surely these lovely people are rushed off their feet trying to keep up & give everyone the care they have promised, so lets show them some compassion & understanding for a change. Thank you to all the staff at Leicester Terrace, you are very much appreciated & you're all awesome!

I have been at this gp for years now and the gp gets worse and worse as the years ago by. I had a miscarriage on the 7th July 2022 and the way they handled it was absolutely terrible. I kept ringing and ringing to get help as this was my first pregnancy and all the told me to do is ring back a couple days later if the pain and bleeding doesn’t stop. I rang a couple days after and some days they didn’t answer or somedays they told me that they’re not taking any more appointments. Never felt so mistreated! In the end I had to go a&e as the pain got worse and still had no help from this gp!
