Nothing gets better than Lsvp The receptionists are always so welcoming and do everything within their remit to help you efficiently, professionally and with compassion. My GP could not be more supportive or caring. He is by far the best GP I have ever had and it is always a pleasure to see him. He cannot do anymore than he already does to support me through my long term illness. If Carlsberg did GP surgeries…… is Lsvp the admin/reception team/ nurses and my Gp Thank you for all that you do for me and my Family, always.

Went to see the nurse today for a routine smear. She knew I had a bad experience in the past. She listened to my concerns and put me at ease.

Had my cervical smear this morning. The nurse talked me through everything she would be doing how the process works. Explained about what they would be looking for. How long the results would take. The nurse made me feel very comfortable an at ease

Although I was seen a little after my appointment time. The nurse did apologise, I understand that occasionally an appointment may take longer than expected. The nurse fully explained the procedure and ensured I had an opportunity to ask questions . Thank you for putting me at ease .

I had an appointment today with the nurse. Sadly they were running 30 minutes late. The waiting room was almost full but not with just patients, everyone seemed to have someone with them. The nurse I saw was lovely. She explained everything very thoroughly. The treatment was mildly painful but acceptable. Not once did I feel I was being rushed and she was happy to discuss my treatment at great length. The nurse was called Jane Arherton.

Do not fall for the good reviews - I have spoken to so many people about this practice and not one of them has a good review! But anyway......... I rang today (only to now be directed to a call centre, you cant even speak to your own gp's receptionist anymore) to chase up result of a chest xray I had over 3 weeks ago. Only to be informed that they have not had it and then asked if I would chase the hospital - really!?!?! Is someone paying me for doing their job for them! I should add that I have now checked with the hospital who issued this the day after my visit, and have sent me evidence of such. Then when asking for a follow up appointment - to be told they cant see me for 6 weeks ! Honestly, someone could be incredibly ill and yet they cant see you for 6 weeks - unbelievable! They do have 3 on the day appointments available but you have to try and fight through the queues on the phone in the morning to bag one of those - I mean 3 a day for a surgery with over 10,000 patients is just ridiculous. I seriously cannot think of enough adjectives to describe the beyond terrible service they are providing and would beg anyone who is considering registering with this surgery to give it a very very wide berth! They are verging on being negligent to their patients.

This surgery used to be great but the last few months have been so frustrating. The receptionist and doctors are great until it comes to the covid spring booster. I'm housebound and was told they would get to me. Next thing I knew was that they'd finished the housebound so I had to go without it.I'm immuno suppressed and also have COPD. Notifications are now arriving for the winter vaccination. I've been in touch numerous times and each time it is the same reply. They keep saying my COPD but it's my immuno suppressed that makes it high priority. Do I have to go through winter withough a booster. To say I'm frustrated is putting it mildly
