My experience from front desk was awful. Told to go and wait on first floor. Waited 15 mins past appointment time. Nothing. Noone about. Took myself through to offices and thankfully the diabetic team members redirected me to the correct floor. Lovely posters coming out of lift did not give directions so ended up asking another receptionist and finally found where I should have been over 15 mins ago . Having found where my actual appointment was the Homerton team were fab and friendly. Front desk definitely needs some clarity and reorganisation of clear signage.

Recent Experience (16/01/25): Securing a referral to a private neurologist has been another ordeal despite having private insurance now. Following a blood test with Dr X, promised follow-up never occurred due to his holiday. After over a week of waiting without contact, subsequent attempts to resolve the issue involved Dr. Y, who was also on holiday. This sequence of events seems comical but is frustratingly real. Finally, another doctor is supposed to issue a referral to my private specialist. But I can predict what comes next...! Previous Experience (02/01/23): The "eConsult" system here is impractical. Repeatedly filling out extensive forms (yes, answering the same million questions each time!) was necessary just to prompt follow-up on a mental health matter that should have been addressed promptly after starting medication. Despite requesting a phone call, responses were consistently via text. Basic reassurance and direct communication from a doctor, especially concerning mental health, should be standard. For routine services, this practice appears responsive, but for more complex needs requiring attention and follow-up, relying on them proves challenging. Considering private options might be preferable if feasible. Previous Review (1*): While simple tasks were manageable, navigating anything more complex proved nightmarish. Receptionists varied in approach, but overall professionalism fell short. Securing an appointment with a GP often felt like winning the lottery.

I was seen by my Doctor within 10 minutes from my appointment time. This is excellent and effective appointment management system. Well Done! The waiting area is very clean, and has enough seating for patients waiting for their appointments. Very well organised with signages for most of the facilities within the practice. These help patients directly head straight to their points of interest. Thank you Liberty Bridge Practice. The front office staff (receptionists) were very kind and checked me in immediately within 1 minute. The service I received from my Doctor was excellent. I was effectively treated without rush and my doctor paid more interest in how responded to the questions. I was supported and reassured, which has helped me in no small way. What I liked more about my recent experience was that, I have had two different appointments on the same week but different days. However, when I arrived for the first day appointment, the Dr who saw me said was happy to see me for both appointments. How fantastic this was! It has saved me from the long wait before the date of second booked appointment. Interestingly, it didn't compromise the excellent service I expected from both booked appointments. Thank you Doctor and Well Done! Also Very worthy of mentioning was friendly and quiet environment within the practice. I recommend this practice very highly to patients and anyone who need their services.

Received what I felt i needed and had requested, with the information required to use safely. Also felt reassured with my diagnosis. I didn’t feel rushed or as if I was on a conveyor belt which helps to feel confidence in the practice.

I am extremely grateful to Dr T. L. for the consultations, care and information sent in the last couple of months. I have a number of issues. From our first consultation, Dr T. L. was efficient while patient, and took the time to really listen. He took everything I said seriously, showed genuine care, asked helpful questions, was willing to explore different possibilities and was connecting the dots. He made me feel comfortable enough to discuss things with him that I have not discussed with a medical professional before for fear of not being taken seriously or how I would be viewed. Although I have had to leave the surgery because I have moved out of the area, the sensitive, insightful, clear way in which he handled my consultations and care has given me the confidence to continue seeking the support I need with my new surgery. I am so thankful that I encountered him during this challenging stage in my health and wellbeing journey. Thank You. Ms Armartey

I had a disappointing experience with the reception staff, who acted as if working there was a punishment. Their behavior was unprofessional, and they were often rude and dismissive. It's nearly impossible to reach them by phone, and when they do answer, the information provided is frequently incorrect. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of understanding of GDPR guidelines, raising concerns about how personal information is being handled. It's disheartening to encounter such poor service and communication from staff who are meant to assist. This situation requires serious attention and accountability.

It was great to have the Dr take the time to listen to my fairs and uncomfortableness of my history of why I had the issues I had. I appreciate 🙏🏽 the fact that I was listened to as well as supported. As an Army veteran who has experience no support or help from the military in the past. I am truly grateful 🙏🏽 to see that the patient matters and is the priority 🙏🏽.

A burn wound on my lower lip had not healed after 3 months. My request to see a GP was not granted, but was referred to specialists,which meant a 23 week waiting time at least. At my further request, I was eventually seen by an advanced nurse. She was very patient in examining my burn wound and the photo records. Her prescription and advice were effective. One week after using the prescribed medicine and following her advice, my burn wound has basically healed, which ended my 3 month suffering and render the already arranged referral to specialists no longer necessary, a saving to the NHS resources. My full compliments to the advanced nurse.
