  1. Review titled Looks unorganised and unhelpful

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have been visiting this practice for more than four years. The first problem is the doctors are changing quite frequently in a short span of time like in six month. I don’t know what is the problem that they can’t keep the doctors but I as a patient been waiting for two referrals for two different issues and the doctor been delaying it and then left the surgery. Secondly, they are giving much of summary about your problems and your medical records are missing critical information which is essential. I am thinking of changing my surgery I can, as they are better surgeries with better moral for patients.

  2. Review titled Unable to book appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

This practice has always been amazing. However recently the customer service / patient engagement has deteriorated. Test results are not reviewed on a timely basis, almost impossible to get an appointment, doctors not returning calls or following up. Receptionist inexperienced and just reading from a menu, no flexibility Can’t even get a phone appointment. I am shocked at how quickly this practice has deteriorated. Obviously knock on impact as people will inundated A&E if they can access GP services, also risk of patient conditions worsening due to delays.

  5. Review titled Lost Medicine

Rated 1 star out of 5

I lost my Tablets that I have to take everyday. I called the GP on Monday to ask for a new prescription explaining that I was leaving for a travel of 2 week out of the country, the receptionist told me that I would be called by the Doctor about it. On the same day of my departure, Thursday, at 11.40 I have been called by another receptionist and been told that the Doctor refused to proceed with my prescription, so I will travel without my Tablets. let's hope that my health will not be damaged by this. based on this site sadly this is the best GP in the area.

  6. Review titled Unhelpful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

having been with this practice nearly ten years and having two major illnesses. I was not allowed to have more than one issue to be able to be seen by a Doctor as there is only a 5 min slot. this was after a 5 min slot a week ago to not have been given a complete set of meds. I am saddened after receiving an appointment to which was cancelled after me personally visiting the surgery to make a complaint. I will there for change doctors' surgery as the abruptness of the reception staff i had, was extremely intimidating to which he tried to say i was aggressive and rude. And the call was recorded as a matter of course. I found the attitude was because the staff wanted me to be rude and i still didnt except him aggravating me. Its a matter of manners and sensitivity to why i am now leaving the surgery. Ill patience deserve a little sesitivity

  7. Review titled Reception failing patients

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 October 2022

The doctors are very good. The reception staff were insensitive, not understanding, and did not listen when I had an issue that needed urgent attention. There is no service for matters requiring urgent attention from a GP unless an urgent appointment is booked. Appointments that should be given to patients who need them. The reception staff and the systems in place are failing the patients they are there to serve.

Dear Patient Thank you for your comments. We have urgent slots available every day for medical matters that cannot wait for a few days. If you call with an urgent medical matter and there is no appointment available, then our receptionists will take a message and pass it on to the duty Doctor. The Duty Doctor will then decide if that patient needs an appointment, and the message will be passed onto the the patient. Neelam Christie Practice Manager
