Review titled 2.5 hours Call Wait

2.5hrs wait for a call to be answered, zero appointments available. However when attending site - surgeries are empty with no phone lines ringing. Assuming calls are deliberately left unanswered.

Try to talk to the staff on prescription matters but the staff did not want to listen to my wife properly and thought she did not know what she was talking about yet my wife worked in pharmacy for long time. Staff needs to be trained how to deal with patients on the phone instead mumbling on the background.

It is totally and utterly impossible to get an appointment here. If you phone as directed at 8.00, you are placed in a queue which when eventually reach the end of you are told there are no appointments available. I have also been told to log on at 12.00am the time online appointments are released , which I have done numerous times only to find there are no appointments available here either. Why on earth do they think 12.00am is an appropriate time to be asking patients to be logging on to try and get their appointments? The last 4 times I have phoned I have been told to go to A and E or the walk in centre. So save yourself the stress and the time phone 111 and bypass this place altogether altleast you get to see a doctor. This is the worst doctors I have ever experienced .

I have only recently joined this GP due to my old GP closing down. I struggle a lot with my mental health and am neurodivergent, so finding a good GP is hard for me. However, everyone was lovely when I went here last week. I had a mix up of whether I was supposed to have a telephone appointment or a face to face appointment. However, the reception staff were super helpful and very patient, they even helped me when I got lost. The doctor and nurse were both lovely too. They instantly made me feel at ease and actually listened to. Honestly I am so lucky to have found this GP practice.

When I need urgent help I need to call them at 8am. I tried to call them many times, but I couldn't speak with anyone. This is not the first time. Last time I called them for 3 days. Nothing. What can I do if I need help? Do I need to go to a private doctor?

its heartbreaking that no matter how sick you are you have to line up for a GP appointment or extension of a sick note. I tried for a week to get an appointment over the phone but every morning I called exactly at 8am the line tells you it’s all reached capacity , how can that be. I am a single mom with no one, I had to crawl out of bed to get a taxi to the surgery so I could be there at 8am. It’s unbelievable that you are that for a doctors telephone consultation. The doctor called and was given a sick note and was advised to call back for an extension if needed. When I called I was told again that I had to make my way the following to be at Gp surgery at 8am for another Gp appointment to extend my sick note. How ridiculous is that. In this pain seriously. My problem is ongoing so even if I go to A&E they will still refer back to the GP. It’s heartbreaking to say this least. I work with older adults and can only imagine the suffering they have to get a GP appointment at this practice.

I have autism and can't use phone for phone calls, been trying to get appointment via the app for over a year, but it only shows 4 weeks ahead and there's never any available appointments. No other way to make an appointment. Legally they are meant to provide reasonable adjustments for disabled patients, but they don't so I will be reporting. My sisters GP provides online consultations and can book appointments online.

It’s no point to register with this gp. It’s hard to get through the telephone que to make an appointment even if you trying to ring from 8am as the receptionist advise. I’ve tried several times for the last 3 days with no luck, today I was on the phone since 8am and I just finally get through the que and finished with the answer “all of the appointments was taken for today, try walk-in or ring again tomorrow morning”. It’s soooo disappointing! It’s seems like there’s too many people with that gp and they can’t handle it. I must search for another gp again unfortunately. Sad.

Trying to book an appointment as requested by themself due to suspected tumor and to discuss scan results but they never answer the phone-was on the phone for 45min.than hanged up-trying 3 times with same results You can only book an appointment on same day which is impossible due to not answering phone Receptionist are very rude and ignoring you even if you stand in front of the desk
