I have recently moved over from Queens medical centre barnstaple, this centre is a complete joke need to see a doctor can't see one until end of next month ,so done a E consult ,to find it takes up to 5 days for review ,these Queens they got back to you the next day ,rang up again to see a nurse couldn't even do that what a joke ,totally disgusting

Dear Diane I am sorry to hear about your recent experience. Our usual GP waiting times for routine appointments are around 8-16 working days depending on the GP you wish to see. Our nurses usually have a waiting time of less than a week for an appointment. I am sorry if you have found it difficult to get appointments as we do our best to offer appointments with the most suitable clinician as soon as we can. We always have our Urgent Care Team available each day for clinically urgent/acute care and advice on the day. Our E consults are used for routine advice, and therefore have a similar wait time for a response as other routine appts. Person did not listen to my request, due to a recent accident with my leg I was unable to attend for a regular blood test and requested a delayed one. It was suggested I could do this at the hospital if someone collected a label but I was unable to get this done; so told He appointment would need to be cancelled which is not what I was asking for.

I have been with this surgery for couple yrs until recently i praised them. I suffer with extreme pain, muscle spasm & mobility issues. Recently i have had trouble getting medication that gives me a little bit of my life bk. Over xmas i have been unable to be mobile due to no medication.

Fabulous service. Referral by GP and I had an appointment in less than a week. Put at ease very quickly and diagnosis given straight away.... much to my relief. Very friendly staff.

I visited the dermatology department at Litchdon House in Barnstaple. I was attending for a lump and area of changing skin on my face. I was made to feel very at ease and following the examination, everything was explained very clearly to me in a caring manner. I was given information about my condition, what would happen next and what would be involved in the surgery.

I developed a mark on my face that wasn't healing, and went to my GP to get it checked out as I have previously had BSS (Basal Cell Carcinoma). I was concerned that it could be this again, so my GP referred me to the Dermatology department at Litchdon House Medical Centre, and I received an appointment within 10 days of the referral. I have now received a date for a removal if needed, which is very fast. I am very pleased with their response and they have put my mind at rest.

What a brilliant team! From the receptionist, to the nurse and the doctor. Everyone was really smiley and welcoming and clear about what was happening and what I needed to do next. The premises were comfortable, clean and welcoming. All in all a great visit. Thank you!

My baby was unwell with a rapidly deteriorating viral illness. Within 2 hours of making contact with the GP surgery, we had been phoned, reviewed in person and admitted to the paediatric ward. Staff were polite, kind and caring at all stages of our journey and we were confident that he was in the best hands. As well as providing safe care, the staff looked to attend to our comfort as a whole family unit and I had confidence in their care.

Once again being messed around by this GP, taking non of my mental health seriously and being generally unbothered, rude and reluctant to listen. I was ignored and when trying to voice my concerns interrupted and told the exact things which I explained weren't working. Very disappointed.
