    Wow.. I'm notoriously bad for literally running off from blood tests.. But today I felt the love of two great professionals who against all odds were able to get my bloods done ... Thankyou so much. P+n

    When ordering ileostomy supplies through Coloplast charter I order the quantity I require not the quantity from the first order made almost two years ago which is what the doctor will prescribe. This is due to the first order being an initial set up with no real idea of how many of anything I would need. A new ileostomy after two major abdominal operations, swelling and bruising still a major issue meant the first order was just to get me supplies so I could leave hospital. I have since changed shape and size, the ileostomy has settled somewhat. However I have also started receiving chemotherapy which changes the output of my ileostomy. I have explained on numerous occasions that I cannot stick to the quantity of supplies on the records and they will change each order due to my needs. I have explained the situation to a number of staff at the surgery and have now taken to email so I have a paper trail as nothing changes. One doctor, the nurse and one receptionist are the only members of staff I have managed to get any help from. There is a receptionist who is rude, and the practice manager gave me his direct number but rarely answers and passes me on to the nurse or one competent receptionist neither of whom are qualified to actually help although they do try. I have a terminal cancer diagnosis and an ileostomy I do not need the stress or added complications of having to consistently fight for supplies I need just to live my life. I am yet again struggling for supplies even though I ordered them well in advance. My latest order was made on 18th August I have since emailed a number of times to the surgery as Coloplast has only received a partial prescription yet again. The responses I have received have been far less than professional to say the very least and a complete waste of time. I can provide the email trail if required. The service provided is non existent time consuming and detrimental to my health which for a doctors surgery seems counterproductive. I am absolutely at the end of my patience with the severe lack of assistance, care or attention. I have not been listened to at any point just left to try and argue my way into getting the necessary supplies for my health. It’s making me stressed and ill. All that needs to happen is for a doctor to write a prescription for the supplies I am requesting which you would think would be a simple request, it’s not like it’s restricted drugs, or things that are illegal I am asking for bags to attach to my body to collect my waste, spray to remove the bags etc I am trying to order enough to have decent supplies and yet consistently have to stress about running out of supplies because I simply cannot get what I need. The only thing I need is for the doctor to write a prescription for the quantity of supplies I request, I know what I need he doesn’t even though I have repeatedly explained why I need these supplies. If he is incapable of doing this I have to wonder what else he is incapable of.
