I just wanted to let everyone know what a fantastic experience I had this morning at Longrove surgery, especially as all I hear these days are negative comments about the NHS system. Yesterday I contacted eConsult and followed the instructions online for an appointment. They came back immediately with an appointment for the the following morning which was today. I have already picked up my prescription and everything went as smoothly and efficiently as it possibly could. Well done Longrove and well done NHS. Just for your information, what I received today would have cost me at least £300 if had gone privately. Hats off to you all!!!

Had a great experience at the practice today, where I was seen by two medical students. They were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the appointment. It’s reassuring to see such dedicated future doctors coming through; restores faith in the NHS!

No5 in queue , then 1hr 11 mins later have been no1 in queue for over 20 mins. This seems to happen more often than not. All staff and Drs are excellent. But the phone situation does let the surgery down. I have tried the call back a couple of times, but did not get call back, this is frustrating for staff and callers. Waiting 1hr 15mins now

I need to take 9-10 separate pills per day so I feel it is important to avoid any confusions by keeping the repeat prescriptions all in sync. This was fine until November 2024 when things started to go awry and, despite my repeatedly adding full explanatory notes to rectify this on my subsequent orders via Patient Access, the dispensing doctor seems to be taking no notice at all and seems instead to be making random choices amongst the various medicines. This came to a head in late January when my corrective attempt was even rejected! After leaving a phone message with you on Monday 3 February, I got a very kind call from one of your staff apologising and promising to put my request through. I noticed that the order details as approved on Patient Access had hardly anything to do with my request and, on collecting the order from the pharmacy, I found that I got a full complement of 56 days of pills - leaving me with a surplus of many of them. I am only pursuing this in order to save the NHS unnecessary costs, but I feel that it will never be sorted out! In desperation and regret, I think I will need to return the excess to the pharmacy and my future requests will simply be for the full complement of the 56 day cycle. Many thanks for your attention.

I sincerely appreciate your efforts to keep your prescriptions synchronized, not only for your own clarity but also to minimize unnecessary NHS costs. I’m very sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve been facing with your repeat prescriptions since November. It’s understandable that this has been frustrating, especially given your proactive approach in providing clear explanatory notes. I regret that these have not been acted upon as they should have been, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I will ensure that your concerns are reviewed thoroughly and that steps are taken to align your prescription requests correctly going forward. If you’re willing, we’d be happy to arrange a discussion to go through your medication schedule and find a way to prevent these discrepancies from recurring. Please contact the surgery and select the option for the prescription team if you do wish to discuss your medication schedule. In the meantime, if you do choose to return the excess medication to the pharmacy, they will be able to dispose of it safely. However, I understand this is not the ideal resolution, and we will do our best to prevent such issues in future.

yesterday I phoned to the practise one of the receptionist picked up the phe and she answered my call here name niki she was very polite and friendly and helpful that was yesterday's today aswell was nother person he's name illkenna he was same niki friendly polite and helpful also he guide me on the right .

I have had to have a number of visits, call backs and referrals within the last month and I’m in awe at the efficiency of this pravtice .The doctors have been so kind and professional and the reception staff are the best I have ever come across, I would in particular commend the receptionist who dealt with my query today .September 10th, I cannot overstate how lucky we are to have this surgery here in Barnet. My thanks to you all .

Had a complicated issue with a prescription and a pharmacy, the receptionist listened and helped me to sort it out and it was all sorted quickly. She was so helpful and friendly. Also back in July when I was unwell I was given a same day appointment with a physicians associate. She straight away realised I was pretty unwell and got a doctor. He was fantastic and examined me and advised me to go to A&E where I got the treatment I needed
