I have been with this practice for 15+ years. It used to be amazing! Some years ago all changed suddenly with the triage system. It takes a very long time to get an appointment, I am talking weeks! Seems to me that practice is well oversubscribed with patients and they simply cannot cope. Most recent experience - My 6 year old daughter is struggling from severe ear infection where puss and blood is coming out of her ear and it takes them 2 weeks to give us the test results. In the meantime she has no antibiotics or anything to help her. Absolutely ridiculous and failure practice and I hope that my review will get into the right hands for this practice to be properly investigated into the service they provide. I pay a lot of money for NI and this is not the service I am expecting to get.

Rang the surgery this afternoon after being ill for a few weeks. Used the call back service which was so useful. Spoke with a really lovely lady who found me a phone appointment for the same day. Doctor called back and actioned some activities for me. Very pleased.

I have been with longrove surgery for 20 odd years and i think the main problem is inconsistency due to allowing too many patients to see ,most of the doctors and nurses are very good but i still think someof the receptionists are not well trained and lack customer care ,i think the pressure is too great , i am moving away from the area and i must say it would be a relief not having to contact longrove for an appointment

Very efficient and friendly service by both professionals and ad min staff. Thank you all. receptionist was efficient and kind in arranging telephone appointment with Doctor regarding my medication.

My mum is in a local care home and sees a Dr from the surgery almost every week They have listened to her and respected her wishes that she does not want further treatment or to go to hospital She has been receiving palliative care and the GP has done everything in her power to ensure that mum is comfortable and well cared for When I have been present at a consultation she has answered all my questions and I feel confident that I could ask for more information if required Mum said to me she feels like she has been getting private care! Thank you so much and also to the helpful receptionists

I rang today to chase an e consult and the call was answered after a very short wait and my concern was dealt with quickly and I was offers an appointment in five days which was fine given my issue is not a major one and the time of the appointment was 7.45 pm which is really convienient and a super service I am delighted thank you Longrove

I think this practice is OK but if you think you maybe seriously unwell, or a woman going the menopause, or waiting for a follow up call after two years, this practice is perhaps not for you.

I just want to say that every time I call up the surgery everyone at the reception desk are always very helpful and trying the hardest to accommodate myself or my baby boy. Also all the nurses that take the blood and do check ups and well as the doctors always very helpful and never felt that they rush me. Thank you once again for all your hard work 🙏🏼

I called about a prescription that I needed altering at gone 5, I wasn't sure they would be open, but the phone was answered within a couple of minutes. The woman I spoke to was very helpful, checked the info on my file and said she would ask the duty doctor to write a prescription that night as I was nearly out of medication. I was very happy with that, then she called me back 10 mins later to say it had been done! With the NHS under such pressure I felt that she really went above and beyond. Thank you very very much :)
