   Phoned the surgery because I was unsure what next steps to take after my daughter had been poorly following her MMR vaccines. I knew it wasn’t life threatening but was unsure whether to be concerned or not. Was on hold for an hour, as is the norm in these stretched times, and no doubt exasperated by it being a Monday. When I got through the receptionist reassured me but stated that unfortunately a nurse or doctor wasn’t free to go through this with me. About 10 minutes later, she phoned me back. She had spoken to a nurse on my behalf and could indeed offer reassurance. In theses stretched times that was such a kind, unexpected, and generous act.
