I attended a review appointment yesterday with a member of the nurse associate team. I was made to feel welcome and my appointment was managed very professionally. The nurse fully engaged in all aspects of our conversation and offered health related advice and recommendations to support me and how I am feeling at the moment. This isn’t a one off comment as I have attended other unrelated (to this health event) appointments with the same nurse on previous occasions and my experience has fortunately been the same. Thank you so much for your time, patience and support!

Went in to see a doctor. For a driving assessment. Was apt, connected, humorous, erudite, communicative, articulate, friendly as befits the importance of the meeting. The GP wrote to driving and vehicle licencing authority. That i was unfit to drive. And i have had my licence revoked. Cant go out. Having major problems with the neighours. Which wouldn't normally bother me if i could go out. Often spend four days at a time indoors. Have nil/no social life anymore I am a publisher/poet with a university background. My driving is excellent and exemplary.

I went for my smear test and the nurse who did it was lovely, even though i wasnt nervous she would have put me at ease if i was. She was gentle and just went about what she had to do, i would like to have her again when im nxt due one

I saw a nurse this morning and this afternoon for two appointments. Professional, approachable, empathetic, made me feel at ease. Not sure of her name- I would like to see her again.

I ordered a repeat prescription as I will run out of my medication whilst I'm on holiday. As I hadn't heard anything from my nominated pharmacy, I checked the status of my order online and found that this order had been rejected by my GP. I hadn't been contacted by my Health Centre to inform me of this and as the Health Centre is closed on Saturday, I will have to contact my pharmacist tomorrow and the GP's on Monday! There is now, no way to give any reason as to why I needed this medication before my usual due date, but to refuse this request without any communication from the surgery and the fact that coming off this medication abruptly is highly dangerous, would indicate gross negligence.

In order for the practice to review this further please can you contact the practice directly giving them your patient information giving the practice the opportunity to investigate this further. Our standard practice is to contact our patients directly if additional information is required and if upon review the repeat medication is not authorised by the clinician then contact is made to inform the patients of the reason for the rejected request. I am sorry if this has not happened on this occasion however please contact the practice so that we can look to see at what point this process has not taken place. Thank you again for highlighting to us as we continue to look to review and ensure our systems are maintained. We look forward to hearing from you directly.

After completing online triage form, I received a call from doctors within a couple of hours offering me an appointment for the following week. I was super impressed by the efficient service and not having to wait weeks to see a doctor - thank you.

Was seen at very short notice, the nurse rang me and fitted me in at the end of her shift, otherwise I may not have had my jabs before I went on holiday, thanks very much

I mistakenly forgot to order my medications in time to take on a break away. After a phone call to explain what I had done, a kind and helpful offer was made to have my tablets sent to the chemist near where I was staying. Very helpful and sorted quickly.
