   All staff from receptionists to G.P.s always friendly and helpful. Pre booked appointments suffer from the seemingly "universal" 14 day wait, but urgent requests have always resulted in a "Face to Face" or "Phone consultation", not infrequently both, on the same day at one or other of the two surgeries. A memorable example of going the extra mile occurred when needing urgent meds normally prescribed by my dentist. In the absence of any other clinical info I was sent a link to provide a photo of the label on the packaging showing dosage, frequency etc. The precription was with my local pharmacy 20 mins later! Although registered at Longwood, this practice and Speedwell appear operate interchangeably which seems to increase the chance of seeing a clinician at short notice.
