When I first registered 4 years ago I thought I had hit the jackpot. Could arrange a same day appointment etc. Now? Earliest time I can speak to my G.P. on a telephone consultation is a month! See the practice nurse for blood test? 2-3 weeks! Yet the latest news is that they're setting up a "Sunshine Cafè" for social gathering of patients!! Are you kidding?

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I'm sorry you feel dissatisfied with our service. The clinical team make a triage decision on when we can see you, based on the information given on appointment request forms. We still offer on the day appointments for patients who are acutely unwell. If you feel the triage decision has been made incorrectly, please contact the surgery so we can review this for you. We are pleased to say we have a very skilled HCA joining our team 07.05.24 which will relieve some pressure on our nursing team and the wait for blood tests. We are also currently recruiting for an additional Practice Nurse. We sincerely apologise for the wait for appointments whilst we recruit. Regarding this Sunshine Cafe, this is held at Stalham Green surgery on a Thursday afternoon when the practice is shut. The clinical team are not involved in hosting the cafe and therefore the number of appointments will be unaffected. Please contact Megan Buck (Assistant Practice Manager) or Laura Holder (Practice Manager) if you would like to discuss your concerns in more detail.

As a non-local, temporarily registered, I received extremely polite, helpful service at every stage and was seen the same day.

After weeks of waiting, I’m still waiting to be seen, emailed them, and they said waiting for a slot for me. This was once a very good practice, but sadly, it’s like all the others, useless. Once I could ring and get an appointment that morning or afternoon, now it’s next month, and when you see a “Doctor” they ask you, what do you want them to do!! My doctor left for Australia, and now it’s a total shambles.

I used the online booking system 3 weeks ago for a problem I have and was told I need to see a doctor and they will be in touch for a routine appointment. After 3 weeks and still no contact I telephoned to ask when I will be seen to be told it could possibly be another 2-3 weeks. Enquiring if we have replaced a doctor who left, I was told yes with 4 new doctors yet still cannot get a routine appointment. This surgery have been brilliant in the past, all through covid they gave face to face appointments, but recently the support is not there. My husband who is having terrible shoulder problems was also denied an appointment to get this checked but offered to see a physio.

Had a handful of urgent on the day appointments in the past 3 months. I have been really impressed with the organisation of the online triage system and subsequent communication each time. The face to face contacts with senior nurses and GPS is honestly some of the best I have encountered: Without exception, superior listening skills and timely interventions. Reception and pharmacy staff are always efficient and cheery. Overall, I feel grateful and lucky to be in their care.
