I’ve been with Lynwood Medical Centre for 21 years since moving to the area. Today I visited the surgery and booked appts for myself and my husband, collected blood test forms and was helped with gaining access to the NHS Online App! Brilliant, friendly and so helpful!

I see a Dr this morning and he took time to listened to me, he reassured me, explained things to me, had a lovely calm manner I would like to say he is what I call a old style Doctor amazing

Twice i have tried to get an appointment using online booking Complete waste of time No one phones you back It says they will phone in 48 hours , they probably mean 48 weeks I have been into the surgery to try to make an appointment but the condescending reception refused but she did wish me "a nice day" It says in the government website that you can walk in an book an appointment but not here you cannot Absolute disgusting way to run a surgery but then again all the other doctors in Romford are no better The NHS , the envy of the world, you have got to be joking , Even 3rd world countries would not envy the service this bunch delivers

Dear Anonymous patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you had poor experience. However for all appointment requests submitted through the internet (using our website link "Contact us online"), the message the patient gets after submission is that "A member of the team will review this request within 2 working days". We review the request within 1 day and we sent a text with link to appointment within 24 hours. I have checked and our data shows that we have contacted every patient who has requested an appointment through internet in the last few days. Since you have posted the review anonymously I can't look into it further but am happy to provide you more information if you contact us with your details. kind regards, Practice Manager

Trying to book an appointment to see a doctor Cannot get through on the phone so try to book through the internet Says they will phone in 48 hours Now over 84 hours and no call I doubt they ever intend to phone just a good way if delaying appointments This surgery needs to be closed down They are accepting money from the government under false pretences

We do have the facility for you to leave a message by selecting an extension for certain tasks so as to decrease the queue. However for all appointment requests through the internet ( using our website link "Contact us online"), we sent a text with link to appointment within 24 hours. I have checked and our data shows that we have contacted every patient who has requested an appointment through internet in the last few days. The new layout of the surgery is so much better than the old one. Staff were very friendly and the doctor really listened to my concerns and was able to help me. Also managing to get an in person appointment in 4 days was excellent. Thank you Lynwood!

The staff was friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The doctor was attentive, thorough, and took the time to address all my concerns. The facility was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this practice for their professionalism and commitment to patient care.

was taken ill with chest infection - hospital told me to go to the gp to have a lung function test. went to the gp this morning and ask for an appointment for a test - receptionist rude and ignorant saying we do not do them - as if i thought they were capable - the doctor does them - really she then told me there were no appointment and i would have to phone after 4pm why are people like her being employed as receptionists because they are not interested in the job and just bring the surgery ratings down p. harvey

Your health and comfort are our top priorities, and I deeply regret that we fell short of meeting your expectations. It is essential that every patient feels respected and cared for. Regarding the lung function test, I understand the frustration this situation has caused. These tests are done using specialised equipment and you should have been clearly informed that your GP can refer you to a specialized clinic where this can be done. We are also working closely with hospitals and other healthcare partners to streamline the referral process, making it as straightforward and stress-free as possible for our patients so that you are referred directly and not sent to GP just to be referred. I am so pleased with Lynwood Medical Centre. This is the best thing happened to us since moving in this area last year. It was norm in our previous surgery to have routine appointments after 4 weeks. Me and my family members calked 3 times in last 2 months for routine appointments and were given appointments within 2-3 working days. All staff very helpful from reception to clinicians. Thanks Lynwood Medical Centre for taking care of me and my family. We all are in safe hands.

I love this practice they are always supportive always there for me with my physical and mental health, they have been there as a GP through thick and thin for me I can never doubt them. If it wasn't for there surport helpfulness, there kindness and understanding I wouldn't be here today they are my saviour. I love these people like family. I stay with them as they understand me, they are my life they have helped me through a lot of things bless them.
