  3. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

i Have been going to this practice since the early eighties and have found it to be very welcoming and well organized by staff , Management and Doctors.I would and have recommended Malvern medical to many friends. I have to say that the front receptionist are very considerate, I was at the reception area today to ask if there were doctors taking on new patients and the receptionist let me know that there were new doctors taking on patients and that I could make an appointment for my partner as his doctor has retired. Thank you to each and every one of you working at this centre, you are all doing a marvellous job!!

I have been in chronic pain for over 5mths I get told one month it’s this then it’s something else and all I get told is more blood test’s which is every month and the same tests? Seen a GP twice out of 6telephone calls, 24/7 in in chronic pain I don’t want medication I need some help, got told I would be referred to physio to no avail then I get told to try some tablets that the GP didn’t send to the chemist and got told another blood test and I have to get in touch with them to arrange it as never got the link they said I would receive. Never have I came across GP’s with no concerns or empathy for their patients.

  5. Review titled Terrible services

Rated 1 star out of 5

Do not register with this surgery!! Lack of communication. Very dismissive when it comes to telephone calls or questions. Lacking in duty of care concerns. Can not fulfill directions or requests made by patients. If therenis a national shortage of a medication why keep issuing the medicene knowing there is a shortage. I have contacted the surgery on many occasions over the last 3 weeks and also prior to this about a medicene I keep getting prescribed and the shortage it is facing in the uk. I was told by the prescription team to make an appointment with a doctor to receive and discuss an alternative. Instead . I had a message from the doctor , saying and I quote,,, "Hi Redacted.. I've checked with our pharmacy team and you *should* be able to get a prescription for 20mg 'Redacted'now - other strengths are out of stock. I have resent the prescription for 20mg tablets for you to collect from the chemist. Thanks, Dr Redacted. Malvern Health Centre... That is copied and pasted. Now. I've rang chemists all over. Everywhere is struggling for this medicene. why On earth not ring for my telephone consultation as booked at 8am about this after weeks of attempting to do so. I also have other texts from the pharmacy team being dismissive of these issues. Very Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the treatment and coldness and lack of responsibility for there patience that I've always received and experienced from this surgery and quit frankly I've had enough. Again. Do not register!!

Dear Patient, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear of your experience regarding this. Sometimes local pharmacies are able to source stock from their warehouses even when there is a national shortage. Please could you phone the surgery on 01684584050 and speak to either the pharmacist or a GP for us to resolve this for you. Yours sincerely, Malvern Health Centre

Lack of communication. No copies of hospital diagnosis and treatment sent to me for the last 6 months. I feel like a lab rat and not a human being. Victimised is the only way I can explain it.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear of your experience regarding this and I am sorry for how this has made you feel. We do not always receive information from the hospital quickly especially with the current pressures that the NHS is under. Please could you phone the surgery on 01684584050 and speak to either our secretaries or a GP for us to look into this for you. Yours sincerely, Malvern Health Centre

Tried to make an appointment for my 11 year old daughter, who has been suffering with ear ache and has a build up of wax, despite using ear drops. I was one the phone for 30mins in a queue, once through I was put on hold while the person on the other end talked to a doctor. After around 10mins I was cut off.

  8. Review titled Positive care practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Freda Morris - Posted on 20 September 2022

Following a telephone consultation the Doctor made an appointment for me to visit the following day. I was listened to and my concerns were completely understood allowing me to feel relaxed enough to talk about the three issues which were affecting me... and I felt safe. The Doctor went on to put my mind at rest and explained that further appointments would follow for the purpose of diagnosis. I am most grateful for the Doctor's time and the assurance that was given... Thank you

  9. Review titled Booking a phone appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by David Cornelius - Posted on 22 September 2022

I visited reception (13.10pm) expecting to triage a replacement hip issue that had arisen and expecting to book a phone call. I had no expectation of receiving a call today. I was asked to phone at 8am tomorrow to book a telephone appt. This really is not that acceptable. I should be able to book one in the future, at a mutually convenient time. Having run service businesses. The customer needs to be put at the centre of attention.
