I have attended one of diabetic awareness sessions at Manor Park medical centre in Slough . Doctor who did this session was very knowledgeable, he listened very carefully and answered questions .I have learnt so much about our body ,the food we eat and what impact it has on our health. For me it was an eye opener to know that all of us human being have approximately five litres of blood in our body and a tea spoon of sugar we have naturally which our body needs but without thinking we are damaging our organ by eating and drinking certain foods which contains so much sugar / glucose etc . We all need to be aware of the foods we putting in our body to prevent disease and live a healthy lifestyle. We need to educate ourselves and attend more sessions in person, online or leaflets etc .

I went to attend my special extra insulin managing clinic for diabetes that runs on Saturdays, he helped me control my diabetes and now his effort and hardwork and shown positive results, I recieved exceptionally high professional service from him and his team, they went above and beyond call of duty to run this clinic for patients who are willing to change thier lifestyle for the better. My results yesterday proved that thier hardwork and our team effort made a difference! I appreciate all the hardwork received from the surgery

It gives me immense pleasure to share this with you. I have been a medical professional at Manor Park Surgery, Slough for four years. My GP is in a different county. I have been a type 2 diabetic since 2007 and it has been managed/mismanaged with oral medications. I mention my diabetes to the Senior Partner in this surgery. He took me under his wing, even though I was not one of his registered patients. Following his advice I changed my diet which was minimal to no carbohydrates, i.e. no roti, rice, pasta, bread, paratha and no to certain fruits. I missed my breakfast and only had black coffee. Lunch was a pure vegetarian salad and dinner was again a big bowl of salad and either lentil (dal) and any vegetarian curry. Most importantly, I gave up snacking mid-day and after dinner. It was not easy but with the Senior Partner's encouragement and explaining the science behind his advice and 20 minutes of pep talk every Wednesday my fasting blood sugar decreased from 14.8 to 8.2 in mere three weeks. I was on four different medications to lower my blood sugar and now I am on only three. What I could not achieve in 17 years, I achieved in 3 weeks. Most importantly, I am not feeling tired but have more energy now. I am more determined to take this further. I aim to reverse my diabetes. I have not taken up any physical exercises. If you exercise you achieve the result even quicker. It could not have been possible without the Senior Partner's unselfish support. I cannot thank him enough. He is an excellent doctor and I have heard his patients singing his praise. Now I am one of them. He had no vested interest in treating me but he helped me as a colleague. You can see his enthusiasm and feel his passion when he talks about diabetes. Generally, most doctors keep on adding new drugs to control diabetes and then eventually a person ends up getting insulin. The Senior Partner's method is no rocket science. Follow his advice and type 2 diabetes is reversible without medicines. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had a great experience with Dr k. He was extremely helpful and considerate, always taking the time to listen and explain things properly and clearly. His thoughtful approach and genuine care for patients really stands out. My husband and I value him a lot!

The experience I had in getting a appointment was very good, quick and efficient with the advisor being very helpful. Once at the surgery, it was as usual clean and efficient. Doctor saw me on time and fully understood my issue. He explained in detail what the problem is and advised me expertly on what to do and the next steps. All in all a great service!!

I went to surgery to make my appointment for blood test. The receptionist was very good she made straight away my app with nurse even she offered me asthma review appointment as well. She said you are die for asthma review. Doctors, nurses and receptionists are very friendly and helpful. This is good practice to recommend friends and family. All facilities are in one surgery as a physio, phlebotomist, eye screening, private scan option , doctors and nurses.
