    Had to wait for 12 weeks to receive biopsy results. So much unnecessary stress on my behalf. I had to chase to get these results in the end. Asked for help at gps received nothing. Felt like I had been forgotten about. Surely it is in your duty to follow up on these matters. Feel very unhappy with lack of support. I have always received a very good service up until now. Surely, this is something that needs addressing. I called twice for results then asked gp to intervine 10 days ago. Still nothing.. Follow up procedure is extremely poor. I do believe the results had not been sent out in first place. Again forgotten about... Unacceptable on my behalf. This is why I wanted to leave feedback to let you know of my bad experience. I hope things can improve and this does not happen to anyone else. .

    I have asked a receptionist at least 3 times to ask the doctor to revert to my previous doubling up of my supply of monthly tablets as prescribed recently. Each time they say yes we’ve done that for you. But when l go to the adjoining pharmacist only 1 month supply is there. Surely this can’t be difficult to achieve. Very frustrating.

    Contacted the surgery today 09.00 24th July 2023 with an ongoing medication problem, had a call back by 11.00 spoke at length to the extremely understanding doctor, picked up my blood test paperwork at12.30 and made an appointment to review the results excellent service and a big shoutout to the receptionist cheerful and helpful

    Hi, I am a new patient to Marden and had my first appointment this morning. Firstly the receptionist, was a lovely caring and professional human being and not an uninterested robot. She dealt with my queries quickly and efficiently. Secondly the doctor I saw was lovely, caring, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you what a breath of fresh air this practice is after leaving my last one of 57 years.

    I just wanted to feedback and say how impressed we have been with Marden Medical Practice We don’t often use the practice but when we have we have been so pleased about how the reception staff have answered our calls , looked up and smiled when we came in and offered choices of what appointment would be suitable . When we have had contact with the clinical staff we have been treated with professionalism and respect . My husband was offered an appointment on a Saturday or Sunday recently . Also I used the contact form in the NHS App and got a call back within 12 hours . We are so pleased to be registered with this practice . Thanks to all the staff

    I have always rated this GP surgery since registered. However recently have been dissapointed in the attitude of the staff and the lack of appointments available. Was requested by surgery to contact for tests results had been waiting months for. Only to be told had to wait 2 weeks for telephone call to discuss results. Unfortunately I fell ill on the day and missed call, rang back asap. Told had to wait a week for new appointments to be placed on system. Then on contacting again, informed next appointment is actually not for another month for a call. This is ridiculous. Attitude of reception staff when trying to just get across how frustrating this was (remaining polite and calm) was poor. She just kept repeating this is a non-urgent appointment which is not helpful. I am in pain with the issue went for tests for and though this is classed as non-urgent I would still like to know if there is anything from results that could lead to appropriate treatment/ support. Surely I have a right to get my results and in a timely manner.

    Dear Patient, I am sorry that you have had a negative experience when trying to obtain your test results. Telephone calls are booked in to an appointment slot and the clinician will attempt to call a second time, if a patient has missed the first attempt at contact. I understand you we unwell on the day of your appointment, but we would always encourage patients to make contact with us to rearrange the appointment to avoid further delays. I am sorry that you feel disappointed and frustrated with members of our team. I would always advise patients to ask to be transferred to a senior member of staff, so that we are able to address you concerns appropriately at the time.     As a working person it is impossible to get an appointment to see my GP. I've been told I can only ring up on a Thursday at 8:30, I explained I can't phone due to my job, they assured me that there would be appointments left when I finished work at 4pm. My partner rang up on my behalf at 10am the earliest he could as he is also working to be told all the appointments had gone so what I was told on the phone the night before was a blatant lie! They then told my partner to ring back next Thursday where we would have the exact same problem, I have now being trying to seek an appointment for two weeks and worry will I ever receive an appointment.

    Very pleasant, very helpful and very kind from all the staff. Practice is clean and tidy and doctors I have spoken to so far have listened and advised on medication for Diabetes type 2 and due to my sensitivity I needed to change my medication and they call back when they need to. Definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you all for all your help so far. Many Thanks Jayne Derbyshire

    I have only recently registered at the practice and so far I'm very impressed with the service we have received so far. Our situation is complex but the doctors and the admin staff have been so patient, helpful and extremely understanding. We are most grateful.
