    I have noticed over the last year or so that the survey is definitely improving. Luckily I find the online consultation form easy to use as it is still difficult to get through on the phone. My consultations have been friendly, professional and helpful and efforts made to resolve my health problems.

    I recently completed an E-consult form in connection with a problem with my hand. I received a response later the same day for a face to face appointment with a physiotherapist the next day. It seemed so sensible to see a physio straight away rather than going to a GP. The physio I saw was very helpful and explained everything well. The problem persisted and I requested a follow-up appointment. Again I was seen quickly and on time. I realise that there are often problems at the surgery but on this occasion I felt I should praise them for a good service which was much appreciated.

    Since Church view practice has merged with maritime partnership, the service has been on the decline. It's more and more difficult to see the healthcare professional you actually require and that's after the long wait on the phone, or wait after completing an e-consult. I can't get medication I need, when I need it. It constantly feels like 'computer says "no"'. I'm told to try and get an appointment tomorrow but that's not promised so to call on Monday. What about today? What about my condition that needs medication right now? The same problem as I've had in the past multiple times but because it has been a couple of years since I've had that medication, it cannot be sorted without a face to face appointment but that also can't be offered. Absolutely impossible!

    I have been critical of past experiences under different regimes but simply cannot fault the service I received this week, from the callback phone system, friendly receptionist, ease and speed of appointment, modern facilities to the informative, professional Doctor. Top class, thank you.

    From speaking to the receptionist on the phone to seeing an emergency GP on call my treatment was empathic, considerate, respectful, professional compassionate and thorough. I was very frightened due to medical need I was calling with and am extremely grateful to everyone who made my consultation happen during this acute situation

    Over the last few months I’ve had to use this practice on numerous occasions, there’s not a bad word to be said. From the receptionists to the clinicians all are polite and informing.

    Had Bloods done. 2min waiting time - Great. Caring nice nurse & very professional. Couldn't fault the service i recieved even if it was a simple blood test.

    Hard to know why I have seen so many good reviews for this practice when my own and my families experience can only be described as shameful - told to wait until the second week of August for a fit note that can be provided in 30 seconds - have yet to actually see a doctor since 2019, all interactions are remote and often with prescribing nurses or pharmacies - I often wonder if there are actually any doctors at the St Mary’s Island surgery…. Best yet call at 1 minute past 8 and your are 30th in the queue -

    I was very happy with the service I received today. The receptionist called me to say the call would be later in the day but we were able to come to an arrangement that suited us both. Doctor called and I felt like she listened and knew enough about my history to help me make decisions about my medication. I was also sent a text message to advise me of a few other things relating to menopause which I was good to know and I am grateful for . Overall good experience
