Review titled Brilliant practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Great practice, when I booked an appointment it was very easy and I was offered a time I needed after work. Staff are very friendly and helpful, from the reception team, nurses and doctors. I found the Askmygp online system good too when I enquired about a referral recently, I found it extremely easy to use and got a response quickly.

Review titled Receptionists that don't want to reception
Rated 3 stars out of 5

The practice itself is brilliant, as are the doctors. However, some of the receptionists are very difficult to speak to and present themselves with a can-not-do attitude. They often come across as rude, and as though you are inconveniencing them by calling up. It is also incredibly tiresome to be referred to AskMyGP 24/7 when that service isn't always available and doesn't always work.

Thank you so much for your kind words about the practice - it is very much appreciated and I will ensure these are forwarded to the team. With regards to your comments about reception - please accept my apologies that you have had a less than satisfactory encounter(s) with our admin team. Our policy is that Askmygp is offered as an optional additional contact method for those with internet access, we receive exceptionally positive feedback from patients regarding this due to the ease of use, access and response times, as well as freeing up the phone lines for other patients who are unable to use for whatever reason and especially those with potentially urgent queries. I would like to reiterate this is purely patient choice or occassionally our admin team will suggest using Askmygp if the patient initial telephone query is relating to a form or a request for telephone appointment of which a photo would be useful for the clinician which they can attach easily. We do let patients know via our telephone call wait message, within the Askmygp system and also practice website about the Askmygp opening times which are Monday to Friday 6am - 10.30am. I would really like to look into this further along with taking more details about your other comments so if you could kindly contact me directly on sharon.chamley@nhs.net I would be most grateful. Many Thanks Sharon Chamley, Practice Manager.
