I was given a same day appointment and then referred that day to SDEC where I was very well looked after. I cannot fault Matson Lane Surgery all the staff there are really helpful.

Hi I visited the surgery on the 29/02/2024 just want to say how welcoming the receptionist lady was and the dr I saw was also welcoming she had already read my notes and put things in place before I visited .. many thanks to all at the surgery you all do a fantastic job thankyou

Was phoned up today 24/01/23 by Matson surgery to say my xray has shown abnormalities in my x-ray. Then I was told a doctors telephone appointment was available until the 2nd of March. Really

This doctors is terrible, long hourly waits just to get through to someone to then be told they can't help or no appointment or given an email address for prescriptions. None of the receptionists are helpful. People waste hours upon hours just to get through to someone! My brother is disabled and was on hold for 2 hours just to be told he had to email them about a prescription, he said he needed the tablets urgently as he was running out, they told him to do an online emergency prescription through NHS 111 online? We then spoke with the pharmacy who stated they can't do it for codeine.. we then had to ring back to the doctors waited a further 1hr 47 mins, to be then told sorry you'll have to wait a minimum 48hrs for the prescription to be done. Matson doctors also introduced very very short opening hours for e.g 1pm-2pm they are open? This is ridiculous!!
