Review titled Excellent GP practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 January 2025
Myself and my husband have been going to this practice since 2012, the last time I visited, the website we use to complete our triage forms are easy to use and received a same day response to arrange an appointment, nurses practitioner I saw had been very professional, empathic and understanding.I can see there are genuine effort by the team to provide the best service primary care for our local population which is incredibly challenging in this current social political climate. A big well done to the team

Dear Patient, Thank you so much for your really positive feedback. We do try our very best to support every one of our patients needs. Since April 2024, we had adopted this new "total triage" approach, to try and achieve what you had described in your review. This feedback makes it all worth while! I will pass the feedback onto the wider team, which i'm sure will make everyone happy as all staff here are really dedicated to their roles. Thanks Chris Gumble Practice manager

Dear Gary, I'm sorry you had an unfortunate experience, i do appreciate your feedback. At the time you posted this, the pharmacy first pathway was experiencing some challenges which have now been rectified. This should not happen again. We have also since adopted a total triage pathway. This means that all appointment requests are being screened by a clinician before appointments are allocated. This means that if you need an appointment, you will be directed to the most appropriate service, either at the GP surgery itself or the pharmacy etc. If you would like to discuss this further, please email: swlicb.adminmayfield@nhs.net and mark for the attention the practice manager. Many Thanks Chris Gumble Practice Manager
