    Got a text message to say a recent blood test which after 3 attempts over 3 days spoke got a call from a doctor who is not my allotted one who altered the dosage on 1 of my medications and to come in for my shingles and pneumonia jabs. I asked to speak to the doctor who had altered my medication and also to find out about the results of a recent blood test after a short text was sent by my doctor saying I needed a supplement as the test had shown a deficiency. I was informed that I could not speak to doctor who had increased my medication and if I wanted a face to face with my doctor I would have phone and if I wanted a telephone appointment it would in 2 weeks time. If there is a response to this review not I will be told to put complaint in writing. I thought this review constituted putting it in writing but know doubt I will have to dust of my ink well and quill. I do feel sorry for the front facing having to deal with a system which is totally broken. Patients frustration will only build and it will be these staff who bear the brunt.

    Good Evening, As you have already surmised, we do unfortunately have to advise you to put your complaint in writing to the surgery. Responding to a complaint will often entail referring to details from a patient's medical records and we are not permitted to refer to such information in a public forum. However, please be assured that we will conduct an investigation into the concerns you have raised should you decide to raise your complaint with the surgery directly.

    Turned up for my appointment (on time), half an hour later I thought I'd check with one of the receptionists and it turned out the check-in machine hadn't worked properly and arrived me for my appointment. Another 15 minute wait which then led to my appointment (which I'd been waiting for for almost a month at this point) being cancelled and rebooked for another day. Almost an hour of my day wasted all because their silly machine didn't work!

    Got booked in to see a doctor without any issues. The doctor took their time to listen to me and ask appropriate questions and I did not feel rushed or not listened to. They went out of their way to make sure all issues were sorted. Would highly recommend.

    I can only say I receive excellent service . Over the past week I had been very unwell at home . Tried to phone on two consecutive days and gave up . Tucked down, took fluids and hoped to improve . On Monday evening I phoned at 6.30 pm and spoke to an extremely helpful Receptionist who advised that the reason that I couldn’t access my Patient records for results was that I needed to fill in another form . I attended yesterday and asked if there was a Dr that I could see . Obviously not but I was lucky enough to see a Nurse . She went through my blood results with me ,very reassuring , and was able to look at some areas of concern on both of my arms . I was referred for a Drs call later yesterday . A very kind and reassuring Dr called twice later and has booked me in for more blood tests and an appointment with my own Dr tomorrow . The Receptionist that I spoke with yesterday was very helpful , and polite considering that I was a bit ‘twitchy ‘ . Very many thanks to her . The only critisism that I would make is the telephone system , which is appalling .Thank goodness that I don’t have to phone too often . Health care is facing major pressures at the moment… not the fault of the people who are making efforts to meet the needs of the Patients . I’m sorry that I not allowed to name the people who have helped me this week . However. Many thanks to two Receptionists, One Registered.Nurse and one duty GP . Very reassuring .Thankyou .

    Always helpful Always polite Always patient Always explaining clearly Always timely I am very impressed with the care I receive, the friendliness off the staff and the way I'm contacted via phone message. I am sent reminders in a timely manner and all the information is clear with alternative choices available. My prescriptions are always ready and waiting. My annual checkup reminders are sent on time. I'm given all good and clear advice. I cannot fault the centre and am very grateful.

    I phoned at 8am got through to voice mail informing me that 3 doctors had left the surgery and getting a flu jab etc etc. Eventually after about 40mins got through. Receptionist asked what was wrong and i informed her that I had been gardening last week and had hurt my side, the pain in my side was getting worse and could I see someone, was informed that my docor was unavailable until next week, told her my side was very painful she tehn spoke to someone else and I was again informed that I couldn't have an appointment until next week or go to minor injuries. We are constantly been told not to go to the hospital but it looks like I will have to go to Accident & Emergency You can order prescriptions and view results etc through Patient Access but you can not book an appointment with a GP.

    It is not possible to make an appointment via patient access. Only flu vaccines. This is now the 3rd time that I have a new Doctor, once at my request and twice they left. I have trouble with strangers, so it's getting harder each time to talk to whom-ever I have to see. The service is getting bad, with covid giving them an excuse to not deal with the public.

    Good Evening Sharon, Thank you for your feedback. It is possible to make an appointment via Patient Access and it is not only flu jabs that can be booked via this service. If you see no appointments when you log in, that unfortunately means that everything available online has already been booked. We are sorry you feel that we are using COVID as an "excuse" to avoid dealing with our patients, as that is not the case at all. Changing a patient's doctor is never something we do with any pleasure, but it is unavoidable when the doctor in question moves on to another role.

    I am very impressed and grateful with the service we received for my daughter yesterday after calling late on in the day and being offered a last minute appointment to see her. My partner then took our daughter to the appointment and has had nothing but good words to say about how he found the nurse with our daughter and made it a good experience for both parent and child! Thank you.
