There have been at least 3 occasions this week alone where I have been speaking to the receptionists at this gp and have had the phone cut whilst I'm still obviously talking, I dread every time I have to make a call to Freezywater gp because I know I am going to be met with the same passive aggressive tone and straight up disregard. You can even see from the 1.4 star rating of this GP and see the other reviews left that are in agreement with what I am saying. To make matters worse I today made a call about an urgent sick note that I required which I had requested over a week ago, I was told that I would receive a call back soon and had the phone cut again before I could explain how urgently I needed it as I just wanted to know when they would get back to me as it was about an hour (even over an hour) until the GP would close which I assume was done on purpose just to avoid dealing with my call. I understand that the NHS is understaffed and is busy but if you can't do something as simple and easy as be nice and patient (incredibly basic requirements for the role that they surprisingly lack) then they shouldn't be allowed to work there! Already as it is, the people calling and coming in are unwell and need to be treated kindly and with patience, and the fact that they can't do something as basic as that is truly disheartening and even laughable. The rudeness also translates from over the phone to the in-person services. As a person who works in service I understand that you can't always be in the best mood but that doesn't mean you should make it someone else's problem, especially a complete stranger that is not well. The staff are extremely blunt with a hint of passive aggression, when you approach the desks it seems as if you are inconveniencing them as they seem to be annoyed whenever you talk to them whether it be over the phone or in person, as if you have offended them simply by making them do their job which they have signed up for, even though they are supposed to be there to listen to you and help you. This is not a way a service let alone a healthcare service should be run and the fact that this place is still running despite the terrible reviews and complaints, which seem never-ending, is beyond me. I would imagine that if someone were to apply for a job they would realise that it means they actually have to do the job instead of sitting around all day doing nothing for money, but it seems that's all the staff there want to do, they make you feel absolutely terrible. I initially wanted to take this complaint straight to the CQC as this GP is just incredibly out of order and something needs to be done about the staff immediately, either they all be removed or retrained (in this case it seems the only way to improve the services is to remove/replace the current staff as it really is that bad), however, I wanted to send in this complaint first in hopes that something will finally done about the terrible service at this place. Thank you

Patch’s is almost impossible to get an appointment with, even at 7.30am…come back tomorrow! Do they not know, tomorrow never comes! This morning I called at 8am I was 40 something in the queue, 54 mins later my call was answered. A lot of Mmmm when I requested an app. And it was only when I said the gp requested I saw him face to face that I got an app. Too many patients? Not enough gp’s? Something is very wrong Medicus the system is appalling.

Whenever I call them up to arrange an appointment to get help with my health related enquiries I cant manage to get hold of someone over the phone to book an appointment after the longest wait on the phone. The enquiry line is really bad and so unreliable to deal with.

The most bad ever experience, no comunication , no appointment , very rude personal , I m trying for more then 2 month to do an appointment but every time tell me to call 8 am but not appointment available

I have rung the surgery every other day to book an appointment, to be told to call tomorrow as they've no appointments left. I call at 8:00 am , and hang on for over an hour. They are not interested in the severity of your needs. There is no way I'd recommend this surgery
