-Very tough to get an appointment -If you ring at 830am it's so busy you may not even be placed in a call queue and you have to keep trying over and over again in order to get an appointment. -Sometimes when you do get through it goes silent and despite constantly trying to get communication from whoever is answering your call, sometimes it goes dead!

Their website, Google and their phones all have different opening times stated. After 54 calls and over an hour trying to get into contact with them, I was told to see a chemist. After that didn’t pan out I called back and asked what the next step would be, I was met with attitude from the receptionist and told it’s not their fault I should have contacted them earlier. Awful practice and awful staff!

The appointment was on time. Friendly and helpful. Fully explained the diagnosis and the reason for the prescription. A follow up/forward dated blood test form was also provided.

Appointment with GP 11.30 Friday 29/09. Told to take urgent bloods. Surprised he phoned me 17.20 told me to immediately go royal stoke they would be expecting me. Just over 2 hours later in a private room in amra on drip. Discharged to virtual ward the following day. Even hospital staff commented how on the ball my gp was catching kidney failure so early. I should also mention how kind, caring, and patience all reception and practice nurses are. I am very happy with the health care provided. meir park lysander road is my main practice though meir primary is also professional. I really do hope meir park continue to provide such a personal service to the local community.

My wife had chest pains but did not want to call 999. So we called the surgery the respons was call 999. Which we did. The ambulance came fairly promptly. My wife was take to surgery at1 30 in the morning. The advise probably save her life.

I told them a serious situation about pains in my organs. they told me i had an appointment booked on the 13/04/23 at 10:30. i turn up and she hasn’t even booked me in and wasted my time and said “she must of forgot”.

Helpful receptionist, appointment made and I was seen on time. The nurse was friendly and patient, listening to my concerns and then reassuring that she / the practice could help me. A second appointment was made and another nurse was just as kind and patient with me, I felt listened to and reassured and she took time explaining my options and medications. I then had a follow up phone call and a further appointment to check on my progress. After feeling 'not quite myself' and previously having been told there was nothing medically that could be done, the service I received from these two nurses has had a huge impact and has seriously changed my daily life and I cannot thank them enough!

After feeling unwell with abdominal pain for nearly a week visited the Dr on 28th March at 11.20 at meir clinic...Dr did a thorough examination and organised for me to go straight to the hospital and straight to the SAU where following tests they discovered an absess within my stomach....i was treated in hospital for 10 days and believe the doctors swift action possibly saved my life....the NHS is on its knees but there when things are serious so thankyou....your assessment was spot on.

Got sent straight to a and e for life saving procedure after a short visit to health clinic, then doctor, cannot thank these people at this practice enough.

I needed some medication urgently & the receptionist dealt with my enquiry quickly & efficiently! She even followed it up with a courtesy phone call before she left for the day.
